South Korean actor Song Jae Rim has passed away at the age of 39. He was found dead in his Seoul Apartment on November 12 and a 2-page letter was found at the scene as per Korean media reports citing the police. The cause of death is yet to be ascertained, however, police have stated that so far there is no evidence of foul play. His funeral service will be held on November 14. His family has put together a memorial at the Yeouido St. Mary Hospital Funeral Hall.

Song Jae Rim began his career as a model and started acting in 2009 with the film Actress. He was also a part of several popular Korean dramas such as Moon Embracing the Sun, Goodbye Mr Black, Unkind Ladies and Queen Woo. The last K-drama he appeared in was Queen Woo.

He also had two films in the pipeline – Get Rich and Salmon.

The Supreme Court established strict guidelines to prevent authorities from demolishing properties without due process. The court emphasized that officials who illegally demolish homes will face consequences, and affected families will be compensated. The court stressed that India’s secular nature demands equal application of the law, regardless of religion.

The Supreme Court on Wednesday laid down pan-India guidelines for demolition of “illegal” structures. The court said the entire process must be videographed and a report of the demolition should be submitted to the district head.
