Delhi Police’s Crime Branch has apprehended 18 individuals involved in an illegal arms racket. The accused, disguised as ordinary workers, were supplying firearms to criminals in Delhi and NCR. The operation, codenamed Eagle, resulted in the seizure of pistols, a rifle, ammunition, and a stolen vehicle.

An eight-year-old domestic worker was rescued from a Noida highrise after residents found her hiding in the basement. The girl, brought from Jharkhand, alleged physical abuse by her employers. Childline officials intervened, ensuring her medical examination and placement in a shelter home.
