On Friday morning, Janhvi Kapoor, adorned in a festive white and gold saree, graced the Sri Venkateswara Swami temple in Tirupati with her presence. Accompanying her were her roumoured boyfriend, Shikhar Pahariya, and former actress Maheswari. Janhvi, a regular visitor to the temple, radiated joy as she was captured with a beaming smile after her spiritual sojourn.

The actress also took to her Instagram handle and shared some of sun-kissed pictures of herself and wrote, “and now it feels like 2024 has begun :)”

Zendaya recently made changes to her social media account, notably unfollowing her boyfriend, Tom Holland.

As of January 4, 2024, the 27-year-old actress has cleared her Instagram “following” list, removing friends, colleagues, and notably, her boyfriend, whom she met while filming Marvel’s Spider-Man: Homecoming in 2017.

On the flip side, Holland still maintains a following list of 315 users, including Zendaya, as of January 4.

While Zendaya hasn’t addressed her decision, she’s been actively promoting her latest films. Just days ago, she shared a poster of her upcoming movie, The Challengers, on Instagram. The poster features Zendaya in the forefront, wearing purple sunglasses that reflect her co-stars Mike Fast and Josh O’Connor playing tennis.

In this film, Zendaya plays a tennis coach to her husband, preparing him for a match against her character’s former partner. Originally slated for a September 2023 release, the movie was postponed due to the SAG-AFTRA strike, ending only in November 2023.

Additionally, fans can anticipate Zendaya’s return as Chani in Dune: Part Two, set to hit screens on March 15.

Abandon ship, Indian Navy sounded the alert to pirates as its elite marine commandos arrived on the cargo ship, ‘MV Lila Norfolk’, that was hijacked late last evening near the coast of Somalia, military officials said on Friday.

The elite commandos, MARCOS, have sanitised the top deck of the cargo ship. The Navy headquarters are keeping a close watch on operations in high seas, say military officials

Around 15 Indian crew members are aboard the ship in the Arabian Sea.

The hijacking was reported by the UK Maritime Trade Operations (UKMTO), a British military organisation that tracks movements of various vessels in strategic waterways.

The Indian crew on board are safe, military officials told news agency ANI.

Naval warship INS Chennai, a navy destroyer, that was diverted from its anti-piracy patrol, has launched its helicopter and issued warning to pirates to abandon the hijacked vessel.

Last month the Navy deployed several warships into the sea to “maintain a deterrent presence” after a string of recent shipping attacks, including a drone attack near India’s coast blamed on Iran by the United States.

The latest attack comes at a time when many vessels have been rerouted from the Red Sea, where Yemen’s Iran-backed Houthi rebels have carried out drone and missile attacks in solidarity with Palestinians in Gaza, where Israel is battling Hamas.

Last month a drone attack hit the MV Chem Pluto tanker 200 nautical miles (370 kilometres) off the coast of India.
