​Several Capitol riot defendants have asked for hearings to be delayed in anticipation of pardons.  

The Supreme Court has directed the Delhi government to decide on a complete ban on firecrackers throughout the year by November 25th. The court emphasized the citizen’s right to a pollution-free environment and questioned the effectiveness of previous bans. It also ordered the Delhi Police to form a special squad to enforce the ban.
