China’s Defence Minister, Missing Nearly For 2 Months, Removed: Report

China has removed Li Shangfu from his position as defence minister and state councillor, state broadcaster CCTV said on Tuesday.

The Standing Committee of the National People’s Congress, the country’s top lawmakers, also voted to remove former foreign minister Qin Gang from his position as state councillor, CCTV said.

The committee appointed Yin Hejun as China’s science and technology minister and Lan Foan as finance minister.

Putin “Fit And Well” Says Russia, Rejects Speculation On His Health

The Kremlin on Tuesday rejected speculation about President Vladimir Putin’s health, saying he was fit and well.

Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov, in a regular call with reporters, also denied suggestions that the president was using body doubles, calling that an “absurd hoax”.

Reporters asked Peskov about Putin’s health following an unsourced report by a Russian Telegram channel, picked up by some Western media, that the president had suffered a serious health episode on Sunday evening.

Putin, a judo enthusiast who has long cultivated an “action man” image, turned 71 on October 7. He maintains an intensive schedule of meetings and public appearances, many of them televised.

His recent programme included a visit to China last week, with stop-offs in two Russian cities on the way back.

In a 2020 interview, Putin denied longstanding rumours that he uses body doubles, although he said he had been offered the chance to use one in the past for security reasons.

In April this year, Peskov said talk of body doubles was “yet another lie” and that Putin was in enviable health.

Kourtney Kardashian’s pregnancy snack list, featured on her wellness website Poosh, offers a delightful mix of flavours and options to satisfy her cravings. Among her top picks are organic mango fruit bars, fig cookies, acai bowls, vegan rice crispy treats, and several other delectable treats.

One of the intriguing additions to her list is Organic Whole Milk Cottage Cheese. Kourtney quirkily paired this cottage cheese with White Cheddar Popcorners, turning it into a surprising but delightful snack combo. She said, “Since the cottage cheese explosion on the internet, I’ve been having cottage cheese and dipping these White Cheddar Popcorners into it. It’s so good.” 

The organic mango fruit bars from Trader Joe’s and Roasted Seaweed Snacks also made the cut. Kourtney shared her unique way of enjoying the seaweed snacks with avocado toast, thinly sliced sourdough bread, ‘quail eggs, and a sliced peach or plum’ for a satisfying lunch option.         

Another interesting choice was the Organic Pineapple Rings with Chili and Salt. Kourtney’s pregnancy cravings extended to Cheddar Almond Flour Crackers, which she particularly enjoyed during her first trimester. 

For those late-night cravings, Kourtney Kardashian opts for Fig Cookies. She confessed to having two of these cookies usually in the nighttime, proving that even celebs have their guilty pleasures. 

The expecting mother also indulges in Acai Bowls, which she embellishes with ‘banana, coconut cream, hemp seeds, and either peanut or almond butter.’ Her love for Vegan Rice Crispy Treats rounds up her list of pregnancy snacks.

To quench her thirst and boost her well-being during pregnancy, Kourtney has been rotating between four different teas, according to a report in E! Online.  She enthusiastically shared her tea choices with her social media followers, showcasing her iced brown beverage inside a transparent glass mug. She mentioned, “One each day,” and on the day of the revelation, she was sipping on nettle leaf tea, which she described as “anti-inflammatory.” 

Nettle tea is known to be a “great all-around pregnancy tonic,” primarily due to its high content of Vitamins A, C, and K, as well as calcium, potassium, and iron. According to the American Pregnancy Association, nettle tea is often recommended by midwives and herbalists during pregnancy.
