Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah is facing a Lokayukta investigation into a land allocation scheme by the Mysuru Urban Development Authority (MUDA). The scheme, which involved allotting developed land to individuals who surrendered undeveloped land, is alleged to have benefited Siddaramaiah’s wife, Parvathi, during his previous term.

Siddaramaiah, who has denied the allegations in the MUDA case, has been asked to appear before the Lokayukta for questioning on November 6.
