Rajinikanth lauds Suriyaâs Kanguva Team for exceptional work at the launch
Anticipation is high for Kanguva, one of the year’s biggest releases, and a grand spectacle awaits audiences on November 14, 2024. Recently, a star-studded audio launch event set the tone, with the film’s team gathering to unveil what fans can expect. Adding to the excitement, megastar Rajinikanth sent a heartfelt video message, showering praises on Kanguva’s producer Gnanavel Raja, director Siva, and lead star Suriya.
In his message, Rajinikanth praised producer Gnanavel Raja’s keen understanding of cinema, noting, “He knows everything about cinema. He knows how to promote a film.” Rajinikanth also fondly recalled working with Siva, saying, “I developed a bond with him as if we’d done 25-30 films together.” He hinted that Kanguva, a grand period film, was initially discussed as a potential project for him but ultimately found its way to Suriya.
Speaking highly of Suriya, Rajinikanth remarked, “Suriya has this thirst to do something new within commercial cinema.” He expressed confidence that Kanguva would be a milestone for Suriya, Siva, and Gnanavel Raja.
