Arbaaz Khan, who made headlines for wedding rumours with Sshura Khan, ultimately got married to her on December 24. Sshura is the makeup artist for Bollywood actress Raveena Tandon.

The couple got married at Arpita Khan and Ayush Sharma’s residence in Mumbai, where the wedding ceremonies took place with their intimate circle of friends and family present.

Arbaaz and Sshura posted their wedding photos together on Instagram. The much-in-love couple posed amidst floral decorations. Both the bride and groom wore matching floral outfits for their special day.

Sharing the photos, the couple wrote, “In the presence of our loved ones, me and mine begin a lifetime of love and togetherness from this day on! Need all your blessings and good wishes on our special day!”

Arbaaz and Shura crossed paths during the filming of his upcoming movie, Patna Shukla, scheduled for possible release next year. Based on Sshura’s Instagram handle, she is a make-up artist for Raveena Tandon and her daughter, Rasha Thadani.

On the eve of her birthday, a 24-year-old software engineer in Tamil Nadu was chained, cut and burnt alive by her classmate who had undergone a sex change operation to marry her, police said. 

The disturbing incident unfolded in Thalambur near Kelambakkam, a quiet southern suburb of Chennai. According to police reports, 26-year-old Vetrimaran alias Pandiya Maheswari, under the guise of a birthday surprise, blindfolded 24-year-old R Nandhini and subjected her to an unimaginable ordeal involving chains and petrol.

The unsuspecting victim, a native of Madurai and a software engineer, had been residing with relatives in Chennai. Vetrimaran, having changed his name from Pandiya Maheswari, lured Nandhini into this deadly trap on the pretext of a birthday celebration.

The HR head of NewsClick – the news website being investigated under the anti-terror law UAPA for connections to China-linked entities to receive funding to broadcast Chinese propaganda – has filed an application to become a government witness. Sources told NDTV Amit Chakravarty, who filed the plea in Delhi’s Patiala House Court, recorded his statement on Saturday. Mr Chakravarty, and NewsClick founder Prabir Purkayastha, were arrested early October by Delhi Police’s Special Cell.
