Karwa Chauth is one important festival celebrated by Indian ladies. Just like many others, Bollywood wives are also all geared up to be part of the merriment and pray for the safety of their husbands. Ahead of the main event that will take place tomorrow, October 20, Parineeti Chopra flew down to New Delhi to be with her husband Raghav Chadha. Soon after, she dropped a glimpse of her Mehendi design and her house being lit up for the festival. Shilpa Shetty also shared what all she got in her ‘sargi’.

Earlier today, Parineeti Chopra was papped in New Delhi to be with her in-laws and husband Raghav Chadha ahead of Karwa Chauth. Soon after reaching home, the actress kickstarted prepping for the festival. First up, she applied Mehendi on her palms and was quick to share a picture of the minimal design on her Instagram stories. The two hearts drawn on the back of her pals are too cute. In another image, she showcased her beautifully decorated Delhi home.

Another Bollywood wife who is excited about the event is Shilpa Shetty. A while ago, she gave a glimpse of the ‘sargi’ which she probably received from her in-laws. On taking a closer look, one can see the gifts she received. It included a silver plate along with two little bowls, a beautifully decorated sieve, Mehendi cones, green bangles, a shagun ka lifafa, some clothes, some jewelry, sweet and savory snacks, fruits, and more.

Neelam Kothari, who is best known for movies like Hum Saath Saath Hain, Agneepath, Khudgarz, and more, returned to the screens in the Netflix show Fabulous Lives of Bollywood Wives in 2020. As Fabulous Lives vs. Bollywood Wives Season 3 is streaming on the OTT platform, Neelam Kothari revealed that her ex-husband Rishi Sethia asked her to ‘wear Indian clothes, give up non-veg and drinks’.

During an episode of the third season of Fabulous Lives vs Bollywood Wives, Neelam Kothari shared her divorce experience with her former husband, Rishi Sethia. Neelam, who is married to actor Samir Soni, opened her heart out while speaking to filmmaker Ekta Kapoor.

“I was told to wear Indian clothes, give up non-veg, and don’t drink. I was fine with everything. Changing my name also, according to me, people do that, but changing my identity, that is something I was not okay with,” the actress said.

Neelam further shared that the actress reached a point where she would ask herself about allowing her former husband to say those statements. The Hum Saath Saath Hain actress recalled when she would visit the supermarket or lunch, people would come up to her and ask if she was an actress. Neelam would deny it.

Neelam continued that it was hard but she wanted to make it work. The actress added that no woman on earth should have to deal with losing your identity.

In the same episode, Neelam also shared that her daughter Ahana once asked her mom about her divorce from Rishi Sethia. Recalling Ahana’s words, Neelam shared that she told her that the actress is a celebrity and her friends searched about her on Google.

The third season of Fabulous Lives vs Bollywood Wives premiered on Netflix on October 18. The series stars Seema Sajdeh, Maheep Kapoor, Bhavana Pandey, and Neelam Kothari in the lead roles. The season also features Riddhima Kapoor Sahni, Kalyani Saha Chawla, and Shalini Passi in crucial roles.

Neelam Kothari married Rishi Sethia in 2000. The former couple filed for divorce after some time. Neelam then started dating actor Samir Soni and finally tied the knot in 2011. Two years later in 2013, they adopted a daughter, Ahana.

Andrew Garfield and Jessica Chastain starred together in the 2021 movie The Eyes of Tammy Faye. Ahead of his upcoming movie, We Live in Time, the actor recalled Chastain’s selfless act during the shoot of the film. In conversation with People Magazine, the Spider-Man actor revealed that the actress rescheduled the filming of the movie so that Garfield could visit his dying mother, who at the time was suffering from pancreatic cancer at the time. 

While talking to the entertainment portal, the actor shared that Chastain ensured that he stays by his mother’s side when she needed him the most. Garfield was by the side of his mother for 10 days ahead of his mother, Lynn Garfield, passing away. 

Elaborating over the statements, the actor shared, “What was amazing was that [Searchlight Pictures’ David Greenbaum] and Jessica rearranged the schedule last-minute—put filming on hold [in North Carolina] for a few days so that I could go back [to England] and be with my mom for 10 days.”
