Akshay Kumar Ananya Panday and R Madhavan team up for a film

Akshay Kumar, Ananya Panday and R Madhavan have joined hands for the biopic of lawyer C Sankaran Nair, set against the backdrop of the Jallianwala Bagh Massacre. The makers made an official announcement today and revealed that the film will be released on 14th March 2025.
Dharma Productions shared a note that said that the film is inspired by real-life events and adapted from the book “The Case That Shook The Empire” written by Raghu Palat and Pushpa Palat.  It will be helmed by Karan Singh Tyagi and produced by Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions.

As per reports, the film will see Akshay Kumar’s character facing the British government in the aftermath of the Jallianwala Bagh Massacre. The official title of the film is yet to be announced.

Meanwhile, Akshay Kumar is currently gearing up for the release of his film Singham Again. Ananya, on the other hand, recently saw two successful releases with Call Me Bae and CTRL. R Madhavan was last seen in Shaitaan with Ajay Degn and Jyotika.

Salman Khan gets new threat: âœRs 5 crore to end enmity with Bishnoiâ

Salman Khan has received a new death threat. The Mumbai Traffic Police reportedly got a WhatsApp message demanding Rs 5 crore to “end enmity with Lawrence Bishnoi.” The threat comes days after the death of former Maharashtra Minister Baba Siddique.

As per multiple reports, the message allegedly sent by the Bishnoi gang read, “Don’t take this lightly. If Salman Khan wants to stay alive and end the enmity with Lawrence Bishnoi, he must pay ₹ 5 crore. If the money is not given, his condition will be worse than Baba Siddique’s.”

The Mumbai police are reportedly investigating the message and tracking the source. Security around Salman Khan’s home increased since he received threats over the past few months. And now concerns about his safety have grown.

More recently, an accused named Sukha was arrested in the firing case outside Salman Khan’s home.
