Lakme Fashion Week Day 4: Aditi Shilpa and Sharvari walk the ramp

Lakme Fashion Week is in full swing running from 9th to 13th October. It provides a platform for designers to showcase their talent and set trends. This season, several designers showcased their creativity and wowed audiences. Designer Tarun Tahiliani presented his first-ever luxury pret collection OTT. Designers Megha Bansal, Abhishek Sharma, Punit Balana and Monisha Jaising also showed their stunning collections.

On Day 4, the ramp was graced by Bollywood beauties Aditi Rao Hydari, Sobhita Dhulipala, Dia Mirza and Sharvari Wagh. Sobhita walked the ramp for Punit Balana in a wine-coloured lehenga. Balana’s collection, Johari Bazaar puts focus on the tradition and culture of Rajasthan with a modern take on it.

Actor Gurfateh Pirzada, too, walked the ramp for Balana, turning heads in his green kurta with pink intricate embroidery.  

Bollywood actress Shilpa Shetty Kundra was the showstopper for Megha Bansal. She walked the ramp in a blush pink lehenga. The actress wore a blouse with a plunging neckline which was paired with a flared skirt featuring silver embroidery.

Sharvari Wagh walked the ramp for Pankaj & Nidhi wearing a kimono bomber jacket with an infinity loop pattern. The collection was titled Loop.

Diana Penty for One Infinite presented Romaa at the Lakme Fashion Week. She wore a rose-pink lehenga.

Dia Mirza walked the ramp for Samant Chauhan who presented his Ethereal Bloom collection.

The evening concluded with Bibbo Jaan aka Aditi Rao Hydari showcasing Tarun Tahiliani’s new brand, OTT. The actress made a grand entrance in a car, wearing
a blue off-shoulder dress.

The grand finale will take place on 13th October where designer Rohit Bal will showcase his work.

Alia Bhatt wants SLB to make Inshallah someday

Alia Bhatt’s first collaboration with Sanjay Leela Bhansali in Gangubai Kathiawadi became a turning point in the actress’ career. Alia will once again collaborate with the ace director in Love & War alongside Ranbir Kapoor and Vicky Kaushal. However, there was another film which was supposed to be Alia and SLB’s first and that is Inshallah which unfortunately got shelved.
Now, the actress has opened up about the film and said that she wants the director to make the film someday. The film also featured Salman Khan.
In a recent interview, Alia said, “I hope he makes the film someday because it is a brilliant story. It is a lovely love story. Whatever Sanjay sir decides will be the best for the film.”
Recently, SLB revealed in an interview that Alia cried and locked herself in a room when Inshallah got shelved. Meanwhile, on the work front, Alia’s film Jigra was recently released in the theatres. It also stars Vedang Raina in a key role. She also has Alpha in the pipeline.

SpaceX conducted a high-stakes test flight of its 400-foot Starship rocket, attempting to recover the first-stage booster with mechanical arms at the launch pad. After launch from Texas, the booster aimed for a return to the pad, while the spacecraft planned a splashdown in the Indian Ocean. Enhancements were made to software and the heat shield.
