India’s Defence Minister Rajnath Singh asserted that India is prepared to take decisive action if threatened, during the inauguration of 75 BRO infrastructure projects. These projects include roads, bridges, and other constructions across various states, showcasing the government’s focus on bolstering border infrastructure and ensuring socio-economic progress in strategic areas.

Baba Siddique, a former Maharashtra MLA and NCP member, was shot dead outside his son’s office in Bandra by three assailants. Two attackers were captured but one remains at large. The police are probing a possible SRA dispute or gang involvement.
