The Bombay High Court has dismissed an FIR against a Mapusa student who posted concerns over environmental pollution from religious rituals on Instagram. The court found no intent to outrage religious feelings. After the FIR, she apologized publicly, stating she did not intend to hurt anyone’s sentiments.

Two foreign climbers, Michelle Theresa Dvorak from the USA and Fay Jane Manners from the UK, were safely rescued from Chaukhamba-III peak in the Garhwal Himalayas by an Indian Air Force team after being stranded for nearly 72 hours. They were initially provided with essential supplies by a French expedition team before being located and airlifted to safety.
