Where Did Rebel Wilson And Ramona Agruma Tie The Knot? Everything To Know About Their Intimate Wedding Ceremony

Rebel Wilson and Ramona Agruma tied the knot in an extravagant wedding on Saturday, September 28 at the private Cala di Volpe Hotel situated at Porto Cervo in Sardinia, Italy. They had over 60 guests attending the intimate wedding ceremony by the breathtaking seaside. The couple revealed their relationship to the public in June 2022. They also have a baby girl together, whom they welcomed in November 2022.

The newlywed couple expressed to Vogue how emotional the ceremony was for them and went on to gush about the warmth of their beach wedding. As per Ramona Agruma, 40, the couple also treasured Sardinia because it was a place they visited early in their relationship and created special memories. They fell in love with its romantic charm and for their wedding, they decided to have a destination celebration with only close relatives and friends invited.

Wilson and Agruma both wore custom wedding dresses designed for them by Pronovias, which the couple described as “duets.” Ramona told Vogue, “We didn’t want to look too similar, but we both have a classic taste. We wanted to wear traditional white bridal dresses and thought the dresses from Pronovias were gorgeous.”

Sardinia held particular importance in terms of chronology since it was the place where Wilson and Agruma went for their first vacation together in June 2022. Their love story started at that time, and after about a year of dating, they got engaged on Valentine’s Day at Disneyland.

The Pitch Perfect star took to Instagram to announce her relationship with a sweet caption, “I thought I was searching for a Disney Prince… but maybe what I really needed all this time was a Disney Princess.” Later on, Rebel and Ramona were overjoyed to welcome their daughter Royce Lillian in November 2022 via surrogate.

Agruma gushed about their Italian wedding destination to the outlet, “The Sardinian setting was so gorgeous—it wasn’t exactly the most convenient place to have a wedding, especially with not much notice for our loved ones—but it was stunning.” Following the wedding ceremony, they held the reception at a nearby restaurant, Pedri Garden.

During their nuptials ceremony, the partners made vows to each other, which none of them had heard until then. Rebel Wilson and Ramona Agruma agreed that it was indeed very emotional to hear them for the first time. Surrounded by family and close friends with good food, wine, and entertainment, the duo said that they had the perfect wedding. Wilson most recently shared glimpses of their Paris honeymoon on social media.

General Hospital Actor Jonathan Jackson Set To Return To Show Alongside THIS Star Nearly A Decade After Their Last Appearance; Deets

After almost a decade, General Hospital fans are in for a treat as Jonathan Jackson and Genie Francis are set to reunite on the iconic soap opera. The Spencer family will return to Port Charles, marking the first time the two stars will appear together since 2015. Francis will reprise her role as Laura Spencer, while Jackson will step back into his character, Lucky Spencer.

Genie Francis, 62, is set to make her return to General Hospital on October 9, 2024, alongside Jonathan Jackson, 42, who plays her on-screen son, Lucky Spencer. Their last appearance together was in 2015, making this reunion a highly anticipated event for fans of the long-running series. Jackson, who has been off and on with the show since 1993, shared his excitement in June when he announced his return via Instagram, thanking fans for their persistent support and love.

Jackson, who earned five Daytime Emmy Awards for his portrayal of Lucky, stepped away from GH to star in other projects, including the hit series Nashville and the 2024 family drama Unsung Hero. His return has sparked much anticipation, especially for the dynamic between him and Genie Francis, with whom he hasn’t worked as an adult.

In a recent interview with TV Insider, Jackson discussed the process of stepping back into the role of Lucky, describing it as “seamless” despite the years that have passed. He noted that working with Francis again was a key motivation for his return, as they had missed the chance to work together during his previous stint on the show in 2010-2011.

With both Jonathan Jackson and Genie Francis back in Port Charles, fans of General Hospital are eagerly awaiting the return of the Spencer family drama. Their reunion is sure to bring nostalgic moments and new twists to the beloved soap, as viewers prepare to see the mother-son duo on screen together for the first time in nearly a decade.

Amar Prem Ki Prem Kahani review – Jaded romance between men

Amar Prem Ki Prem Kahani review – Jaded romance between men

There’s many a slip between the cup and the lip. Is that a cliche? Or is it just an old truth that can be used to describe countless well-intentioned films that end up being wishy-washy? Fact is, Amar Prem Ki Prem Kahani is a film that tries to tell the quintessential love story with the presumably ‘woke’ setting of a guy meets guy instead of a guy meets girl. Everything that we’ve seen in films like Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge, Dil Chahta Hai and many other romances, plays out in Amar Prem Ki Prem Kahani, but with two men – Amar (Sunny Singh) and Prem (Aditya Seal). Just because we’ve not seen the London se leke Punjab tak ka pyaar with two men doesn’t mean it won’t feel jaded, watching it for the nth time. Also it doesn’t help that we just watched two lovers struggle to make their respective Punjabi and Bengali families come together (a prominent theme in this film) in Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani, just last year. So the novelty factor of Amar Prem Ki Prem Kahani runs out thick and fast. And that’s never a good prospect for any film.

Persistent die-hard romantics would still want to know what the story of Amar Prem Ki Prem Kahani is, perhaps. For those hopeless romantics, let’s quickly try to piece it together. Amar (Sunny) is a blue-eyed boy at the centre of a big Punjabi family living in a pind (village) in Punjab. Amar has half-a-dozen sisters who always shield and protect him from the ire of his grandfather (Tarsem Paul). He also has a protective Beeji (Baljinder Kaur) who keeps Amar’s Bauji at bay and lets the boy do whatever he wants. While the pind di kudiyan are lattoo over Amar’s machismo, his heart secretly wishes for love from the same gender. Only Amar has no clue how to break the news to his traditional family. Amar decides to jet off to London to blow off some steam (though it’s not really clear if that is the true intention) and enroute, at Delhi airport Amar runs into Prem (Aditya). It is in the ‘safer’ environs of London that the initial spark between Amar and Prem blossoms into love. Amar’s mama (Rajendra Sethi) and Prem’s bestie Elina (Diksha Singh) are the friends who help the leading men in sundry situations.

Wait, there’s a little bit more. Back in the pind, there’s Mandy (Pranutan Bahl) who aspires to be Amar’s wife. Halfway through the film we’re also introduced to Prem’s Bengali family led by his Momta dadi (Neeta Mahindra). The two men and their families have adventures and misadventures, all while a big fat Indian wedding promises to go kaput at any given moment. That’s the gist of this two-hour dramedy on Jio Cinema, trying to pack in every plot and subplot ever explored in Indian, romantic, family comedies.

The film’s screenplay oscillates between good and bad with marked consistency. So where you have genuinely funny moments from actors like Baljinder Kaur and Rajendra Sethi, the film always wants to engage in soppy exposition from Sunny Singh and Aditya Seal’s characters. At times, it feels like the film’s lead actors are spoon feeding the viewer instead of living their characters’ emotions. And that’s no fault of the actors. The editing just never comes together in this film, ever. Neither does the music, even though the choice of song in the climax is genuinely good.

There’s nothing fundamentally wrong with Sunny Singh or Aditya Seal’s efforts in portraying two men in love, but they never come across as two individuals deeply in love. That Naina-Kabir type of YJHD spark is totally missing from Amar Prem Ki Prem Kahani. Pranutan Bahl though delivers a wonderfully wicked performance, with a character that totally deserves her own spin-off story. Pity there’s little focus on her character Mandy and the chaos she courts. Diksha Singh, as the London friend is also a fresh find, but her character doesn’t have much to do.

If you’ve made it this far into the review chances are you’re starving for some R-n-R and have a rabid passion to watch a romantic comedy. If that’s the case you might want to perhaps consider other alternatives like Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani. Or may be even watch Aditya Seal’s Khel Khel Mein or Sunny Singh’s Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety instead.
