External affairs minister S Jaishankar will visit Pakistan for the SCO meeting on October 16 and 17. Pakistan invited Prime Minister Modi, but due to strained relations, Jaishankar will attend. The SCO, a major Eurasian grouping, allows members like India and Pakistan to cooperate despite bilateral disputes.
