Known for iconic hits like Belaseshe, Belashuru, and Rosogolla, the duo is now preparing to release four highly anticipated films, including Bohurupi (October 2024) and Amar Boss (December 2024), with two more blockbusters in the pipeline.

The excitement is already building around Bohurupi, which will hit theaters on 8th October, with the full album releasing two days prior. One of the film’s standout tracks, Dakatiya Banshi, has grabbed attention with its vibrant rhythm, composed by Bonnie Chakraborty and performed by Shrestha Das, Nanichora Das Baul, and Chakraborty himself.

He said, “Our collaboration with Windows Production has always yielded remarkable results. Together, we’ve created music that not only resonates with Bengali audiences but also reaches listeners across the country. With our upcoming projects, we are excited to continue this legacy.”

While Shiboprosad Mukherjee, Co-Founder of Windows, emphasized the success of their musical collaboration over the last decade. He said, “Our association with Junglee Music has been a remarkable journey of over 10 years, beginning in 2013. Together, we’ve given the Bengali film industry some of its most iconic hits, such as Rangabati and Tapa Tini. Junglee Music has played a pivotal role in bringing our cinematic stories to life through music, and their support has been invaluable to us. As we look forward to the release of Bohurupi and Aamar Boss later this year, we are thrilled to announce the launch of yet another dance anthem from Bohurupi today. With this track, we are hoping for a hat trick. We believe this song will continue the legacy of our historic association with Junglee Music and once again strike a chord with audiences.”

5 things to look forward to in the Jigra trailer

Alia Bhatt is back with another banger! The actress who is known to delve deep into her characters is back with another interesting film. Directed by Vasan Bala, Alia’s Jigra also stars Bollywood’s new blue-eyed boy Vedang Raina. The film is being bankrolled by Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions and Alia Bhatt’s Eternal Sunshine Productions. The film follows the story of Satya and Ankur played by Alia and Vedang respectively. The brother-sister duo is seen having each other’s backs at all costs throughout the pre-released content of the film. Today, Filmfare got an exclusive preview of the trailer, which is set to release tomorrow officially. So, we thought about listing out 5 things to look forward to in the Jigra trailer.

Alia Bhatt’s intensity
The film’s trailer takes you on a journey with Alia’s character Satya who is ready to do anything to save her brother Ankur. Alia’s intensity in a few scenes and the action looks on-point. She has nailed her character yet again and we’re excited to watch this one for sure.

Vedang Raina’s innocence
Vedang plays Ankur in the film, his scenes have a bag full of emotions and the actor aces them all. He makes his presence felt in the trailer and his belief and innocence in the scenes he has with Alia is just impeccable.
Pacy background score
Be it Alia and Diljit Dosanjh’s Chal Kudiye, Vedang’s Phoolon Ka Taaron Ka or any other track from the film, the background score in the trailer keeps you glued to your screens throughout and adds the necessary pace to it.
Stellar direction
Vasan Bala is in top form and it is clear from the trailer itself. The way it has been shot and the treatment is truly impressive. The action sequences give an international feel to the film and make it look raw, rough and relentless.

A special cameo
Look out for a special cameo in the trailer by someone who is extremely close to Alia Bhatt. That scene too, is impactful and leaves a mark on the audience.

The film is set to hit theatres on October 11, 2024.

Alia Bhatts trainer reveals how she shot action scenes in Heart Of Stone

When Alia Bhatt shot for her Hollywood debut Heart Of Stone, she was already pregnant with her daughter but that did not stop her from packing some punches. Anshuka Parwani, the actress’ fitness trainer recently revealed that she sailed through her pregnancy during the shoot.

She said in an interview, “I still remember, Alia was shooting for her first international project, Heart of Stone. That role required Alia to do a lot of action sequences, and of course, at that point, I knew she was pregnant with Raha. Alia and I started preparing for that role while she was expecting. In fact, while she was shooting for it, we were working out remotely because, unfortunately, at that time, I did not travel with her. It was Covid-19, so I wouldn’t train anybody online without the awareness of their body and yoga.”

She added that Alia understood pregnancy as a natural process and adapted with ease. “The fact that she was pregnant and had to do action sequences- nobody would be comfortable training her online in a situation”, she said and added, “but because Alia has that kind of awareness, during that stipulated period, we did train remotely. I don’t think anybody could even tell that she was pregnant during the shoot of the film or while she was doing those action sequences. Alia sailed through it like a breeze. Her attitude in approaching things was literally everything because she knew it was a natural process, and with some adjustments here and there, it all became a cakewalk. I’m not saying it’s a very simple process, but it’s the right attitude that eventually matters.”

Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor welcomed their daughter Raha in November 2022. The actress is currently gearing up for the release of her film, Jigra.
