A special court has instructed the Mysuru Lokayukta Police to investigate Karnataka CM Siddaramaiah, his wife, and others regarding an alleged MUDA scam. This directive comes after the Karnataka high court dismissed Siddaramaiah’s petition challenging the governor’s approval for an investigation into a site allotment case involving compensatory sites in Mysuru.

The BJP has distanced itself from Mandi MP Kangana Ranaut’s comments on the farm laws, describing them as baseless and illogical. Spokesperson Jaiveer Shergill emphasized that these views do not represent the party’s stance and highlighted Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s strong bond with Punjab. Ranaut clarified her opinions were personal.
