A 22-year-old man from Korba district in Chhattisgarh succumbed to a venomous snake bite. Villagers, fearing further danger, burnt the reptile alive on his funeral pyre. Authorities stressed the importance of educating locals about snakes and proper snakebite management. A video showing the incident has been shared on social media.
