Brothers TRAILER: What Happens When Siblings Josh Brolin And Peter Dinklage Team Up For One Last Heist? Watch

Get ready for the unexpected! Josh Brolin and Peter Dinklage have come together to portray siblings in Brothers. While the two leads happen to be a never-before-seen pair on screen, there are a lot of moments having similar emotions.

For instance, when Marisa Tomei shares a private time with Dinklage’s character. Yes, the movie has a great cast, along with a great heist. As seen in the trailer, the movie seems to be around the emeralds, which are being chased by another great actor from the Hollywood film industry, Brendan Fraser.

We see Fraser’s character throwing Dinknalge all the way into a bathtub while being dressed as a thief in all black, also asking him, “Where are my emeralds? What’s the hold-up?”

Here, in the trailer of Brothers, as per Mike, the character being portrayed by Peter Dinklage, his family is not a usual one; with the talent of dentists and lawyers passing on through generations, they follow a long queue of felons.

A flashback scene appears, somewhere around the beginning of the trailer, which shows a young duo trying to open a safe.

It looks like, Mike will be shown as the mastermind of all the heists carried out by these two brothers, which also includes Brolin’s Moke, who has the talent of cracking codes and safes.

In a secret conversation at a random urinal, Mike could be seen trying to convince Moke, to jump back into the heist business again, after he stepped out following his marriage.

Soon, intense music begins playing, but the sibling rivalry and fun don’t end yet. Well, the duo is still incomplete, as it soon becomes a trio, with their mother, Glenn Close, showing up in the trailer as well.

However, her reintroduction into the lives of these two brothers is not taken well by Josh Brolin’s Moke. Close’s character is of one ungrateful mother, who explains how much the two emeralds are worth.

This mind-blowing cast is stepping in for an extravagant heist of funny moments with the release of Brothers coming near. Meanwhile, we are also in for a treat, as the list of actors appearing in the film does not end with the above-mentioned names; it also includes Taylour Paige, M. Emmet Walsh, Jennifer Landon, and more.

The movie is being directed by Max Barbakow, who is widely appreciated for his Andy Samberg-starring movie Palm Springs, while being penned by Macon Blair.

Brothers is based on a story from Etan Cohen and will release in selected theaters on October 10, before streaming on Prime Video on October 17.

Shabana Azmi finds it ‘tough to accept’ that she can’t have children with Javed Akhtar: ‘Society makes you feel incomplete’

Shabana Azmi has been married to veteran lyricist Javed Akhtar for almost 40 years now but the couple never embraced a child. The actress who cannot bear a kid due to medical reasons recently spoke to Indian Express about society making her feel incomplete and accepting the reality.

Azmi expressed, “It’s tough coming to terms with the fact that you can’t bear children. Society makes you feel incomplete. You have to work hard to pull yourself out of that.” The 73-year-old further encouraged all women to understand that the ultimate sense of their self must come from their work. Shabana said that women measure their self-worth from their relationships (wife, mother daughter…) but men measure it in reference to their career and work.

“I believe that should apply to all genders.” In a 2000 interview with Simi Grewal, the Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani star spoke about how she didn’t take much time to move on from accepting the fact that she could not bear a baby. For Azmi, it wasn’t any sort of ‘major disappointment’ but rather she was herself amazed at how easily she accepted her fate.

Shabana said, “Once I realized I couldn’t have kids, I didn’t let it linger over and make me unhappy. I just packed my bags and carried on from there and was very grateful for many other things that I could do.” However, why did Shabana Azmi never adopt a child with Javed Akhtar? The Arth actress admitted that she was very happy with her stepchildren (Farhan Akhtar and Zoya Akhtar) and redirected all her love towards them.

“I am very friendly with Javed’s kids so that need was fulfilled. They have grown up and they are at a time when I don’t have to change their nappies or worry about their malaria,” said Shabana adding that not having children made her more focussed on her career because according to her ‘motherhood is very demanding’.

Javed Akhtar was previously married to Honey Irani from 1972 to 1985 and the duo are parents to filmmakers Farhan and Zoya. The lyricist recently saw the release of a docu-series based on his life and Salim Khan titled Angry Young Men.

Top Cop Changed, Officials Gone, But Kolkata Doctors Continue ‘Cease Work’

Junior doctors protesting in Kolkata against the rape-murder of a 31-year-old medico at RG Kar Medical College and Hospital said late last night that they will continue their ‘cease work’ agitation till the Mamata Banerjee government fulfills all their demands. They have said they will reach out to the state government for more discussions on the demands yet to be fulfilled.

The West Bengal Junior Doctors’ Front said in a statement that many attempts were made to malign their movement. “Due to our movement’s pressure, the state government was forced to remove the Police Commissioner, Deputy Commissioner North, Director of Health Services and Director of Medical Education. This is a partial victory of our movement,” they said.

The doctors said that in their meeting with Chief Minister Banerjee on Monday, there was no decision on their demand to remove the Principal Secretary (Health). “The Chief Minister gave us a verbal assurance, but we have not seen any step in the direction so far.”

The doctors’ body also flagged the Supreme Court’s observations on the Bengal government’s notification that said state-run hospitals would avoid giving night shifts to women doctors. The doctors said it is not possible to provide security to women by creating a gender divide. Following the court’s observations that it is the state’s duty to provide security, the Bengal government’s counsel Kapil Sibal said the notification will be tweaked. The doctors also pointed to the court’s remarks on contractual staff being roped in to provide security at hospitals.

The doctors’ body has said that merely beefing up security at hospitals will not ensure the safety of doctors till health services are improved. It has pressed for adequate recruitment of healthcare staff and counselling services at hospitals. “Ordinary people face problems due to corruption in the allotment of hospital beds, and shortage of life-saving drugs. We want a solution to all these problems,” the doctors’ forum said.

The junior doctors said that during their meeting with the Chief Minister, they had demanded a college-level task force to address these problems. “We think more discussions are needed. It is not clear how these demands will be fulfilled.”

They have also underlined their demand for an end to the “politics of fear” in medical colleges and democratic student union elections. “The Chief Minister announced from our protest site that patient welfare committees will be dissolved, but we got nothing in writing and there is no clarity on how these committees will be set up again.”

The doctors’ body said that it wants the government to hold discussions and fulfill the demands. “We want to return to work,” the junior doctors said.
