Filmmaker Sandeep Reddy Vanga seems quite excited for his friends Jr NTR and Koratala Siva as their film Devara Part 1 inches closer to its grand release. Ahead of the film’s release, the Animal directed sat down for a playful chat with the team of Devara including Saif Ali Khan, Jr NTR, Janhvi Kapoor and Koratala Siva. During the fun conversation, the RRR star engaged in a fun banter with Sandeep Reddy Vanga when asked about his film’s runtime.

For the unversed, Sandeep Reddy Vanga asked the Devara team about the runtime of Devara Part 1. Responding to the question, Koratala Siva poked fun at the director by saying that it’s ironic that the director of Animal is asking about our film’s runtime. 

Jr NTR further teased Vanga by saying, “What’s the runtime of Animal, sir? 3:15?” While the director burst into laughter, he also claimed that Animal was in fact 3 hours and 24 minutes long. Amused by Jr NTR and Vanga’s banter, Saif Ali Khan and Janhvi Kapoor also could not hold back their laughter. 

During the chat, Vanga asked the team of Devara what was the idea behind the film. Responding to the question, Koratala Siva said, “It’s the most ambitious film I have ever made, ambitious in the sense not in terms of scale but in the idea itself. So generally, see, from the inception of commercial cinema, fear is always portrayed as a negative emotion. But sometimes I felt that, you know, when fear is very precious, so everyone needs to have fear.”

James Middleton, the brother of Princess of Wales presents details of himself actively engaging in the royal wedding of Prince William and Kate, in 2011 and overcoming struggles in biographical work Meet Ella: The Dog Who Saved My Life. Though diagnosed with dyslexia at 11 years of age Middleton nevertheless narrates how he managed to give a Bible reading at his sibling’s Westminster Abbey wedding.

In an excerpt published in the Daily Mail on September 14, the now 37 years old narrates the look of disbelief that he must have had when instructed to do the reading. He was taken aback because he remembered how hard it had always been to read text aloud during the time he was in school. He even wondered why on earth they had picked him to do it bearing in mind he had a reading disability.

He noted that after interacting with his sibling and Prince William to get an understanding of their choice, he nodded to accept their decision and reassured them that he would try as best as he could. It was only later that Middleton discovered that his part in the service would be the only reading, and while feeling proud, it left him quite ill at ease. Looking at all the effort they had put in, he took the reading with him everywhere going over it and getting word pronunciation right sometimes even in his sleep.

For more practice, he hired rather dramatically the voice instructor Anthony Gordon Lennox who worked with former prime minister David Cameron. With the help of Lennox’s support, Middleton’s self-assurance improved step by step.

Jane’s Addiction’s concert in Boston on September 13 was abruptly cut short when frontman Perry Farrell attacked guitarist Dave Navarro on stage. The altercation, which was captured by fans at the Leader Bank Pavilion, occurred during the band’s performance of Ocean Size, as per Billboard.

Farrell became visibly angry for unknown reasons and lunged at Navarro grabbing his shoulder and shouting at him. The argument quickly escalated, with Farrell eventually throwing a punch at Navarro, who appeared perplexed and attempted to figure out what was happening.

“What the f—?” Navarro was seen shouting as stage crew members intervened to restrain Farrell and take him backstage. Navarro then removed his guitar and exited the stage, abruptly ending the show after 11 songs, shortening the concert before the band’s usual set of 14 to 15 songs. At the time, Jane’s Addiction had not commented on the situation, and the reasons for Farrell’s outburst were unknown.
