Throwback to when Malaika Arora spoke about her father Anil Arora

Bollywood actress Malaika Arora received the tragic news of her father Anil Arora’s demise on Wednesday morning, she has previously shared insights into her challenging childhood. The Mumbai Police confirmed Anil Arora’s death, which has deeply impacted Malaika and her family.  

In a 2022 interview with Grazia, Malaika opened up about the tumultuous period following her parents’ separation. She described her childhood as “tumultuous” but noted how it taught her invaluable lessons. Malaika revealed that observing her mother, Joyce Polycarp, through this challenging time helped her develop a “rock-steady work ethic” and a sense of fierce independence.  
Reflecting on her past, Malaika shared, “Tough times teach you important lessons. My parents’ separation allowed me to see my mother in a new light and build a strong foundation for my life and career.” Despite the struggles, Malaika’s experiences have shaped her into the independent and resilient individual she is today.
