Srinath received the LTA Award at the 69th SOBHA Filmfare Awards South 2024

The 69th SOBHA Filmfare Awards South 2024 took place at Hyderabad’s JRC Conventions & Trade Fairs Centre on August 3, 2024. Veteran actor Srinath was honoured with the Lifetime Achievement Award at the ceremony. The award was presented to him by B. R. Lakshmana Rao for his incredible contribution to Indian cinema for decades.

While receiving the award, the actor noted that the moment motivates him to work for many more years. “Ladies and Gentlemen, I am so happy today to receive this beautiful Lifetime Achievement Award. If they give me Lifetime Achievement Award, that does not mean I should retire. It encourages me to work for another ten years. So, I will work for ten more years. My thanks goes to my director, my guru, Sir Puttanna Kanagal, who made me what I am today. He taught me to not lose my heart in the face of success or failure. He wanted me to be an artist, not an actor… Thanks a lot to everyone,” he added.

Other attendees, including Nani, Prakash Raj, Jyothika, Siddharth, and others applauded the veteran actor, while fondly listening to his heartfelt speech.
