Jujutsu Kaisen Chapter 268: Megumi’s Comeback Eyes Story’s Ending and Epilogue

The ending announcement of the Jujutsu Kaisen manga opened up the internet to many speculations and discussions. The return of Satoru Gojo remains to be one of the most anticipated ones. But what is interesting to see in the most recent chapter, Jujutsu Kaisen Chapter 268 is the comeback of Megumi. While the battle continues, Megumi’s body remains possessed by Sukuna. However, the latest outing foreshadows that the heroes might be getting an upper hand over him.

The return of Nobara Kugisaki in Chapter 267 marked a turning point in the battle, as she used her Resonance technique to weaken Sukuna, giving Yuji the opening he needed to strike back. With this attack, they were able to pull Sukuna out of Megumi’s body. Though the effort was a tough one, it was confirmed that fans will be getting the character back once and for all.

With the last couple of chapters to roll out, the story seems to be rushing toward the end. Meanwhile, an epilogue with a time skip also seems highly likely. However, with only numbered chapters, there is a lot to pack in for the story.

Jujutsu Kaisen manga ending: What might happen?

Aside from Megumi’s return, several possibilities could shape the ending of Jujutsu Kaisen. One likely scenario involves Yuji Itadori making the ultimate sacrifice to defeat Sukuna. Throughout the series, Yuji has been willing to bear the burden of protecting others, and his death could serve as the final act to ensure Sukuna’s permanent destruction.

Another potential ending could focus on the collective efforts of the main characters including Yuji, and Megumi. With Megumi coming back, the team will have one more hand to help them out in fighting Sukuna. Alternatively, the ending might be bittersweet with the victory coming at a higher cost of losing favorite characters. This conclusion would emphasize the complexities and consequences of the battles they’ve fought.

As per MANGAPlus website, Jujutsu Kaisen Chapter 269 is scheduled for release on Monday, September 16, 2024. The chapter will be available at midnight in Japan, meaning international readers can expect it to be released early in the morning in their respective time zones.

The Buckingham Murders Trailer Launch: Does Kareena Kapoor Khan’s character Jas have ‘Bathinda wali Sikhni’ Geet’s traits from Jab We Met?

Kareena Kapoor Khan is currently looking ahead to the release of her film The Buckingham Murders. She is playing Jasmeet Bhamra, a detective. One of Kareena’s most famous portrayals is her character Geet, the ‘Bathinda wali Sikhni’ from Jab We Met. During the trailer launch of her upcoming movie, the actress revealed if Jas had similar traits to Geet.

Today, September 3, 2024, the team of The Buckingham Murders came together for an event in Mumbai to launch the trailer. During the event, Kareena Kapoor Khan was asked whether her character Jas had any traits of Geet, since they were both Sardarnis.

In response, Kareena said that she didn’t feel so as Jab We Met was a completely different movie. She stated, “It doesn’t matter if you’re playing the same authenticity of a religion, like if I am a Sikhni, it doesn’t mean that I’m going to be Bathinda wali Sikhni. I should also be able to play the detective Jas Bhamra.” Kareena believed that it was the actor’s responsibility to showcase different parts.

Comparing another two characters from her movies, Kareena added, “Like I’ve played a pr*stitute in Chameli but at the same time in Talaash. But if you put both of them together they’re completely different.” Similarly, she thought that Jas was also a very different character.

Meanwhile, the 2-minute, 34-second trailer of The Buckingham Murders offers a glimpse into the plot of the gripping thriller. It follows a crime investigation by detective Bhamra, who cannot trust anyone around her. Check it out here!

The cast of the film includes Kareena Kapoor Khan, Ranveer Brar, Ash Tandon, Assad Raja, Prabhleen Sandhu, Sanjeev Mehra, Adwoa Akoto, and Zain Hussain. Directed by Hansal Mehta, the movie is produced by Shobha Kapoor, Ektaa R Kapoor, and Kareena Kapoor. Aseem Arrora, Kashyap Kapoor, and Raghav Raj Kakker have penned the screenplay.

The Buckingham Murders is set to hit the cinemas on September 13, 2024. It will mark Kareena’s second release this year after the heist comedy Crew, in which she shared the screen with actresses Kriti Sanon and Tabu.

Rahul Gandhi Urges Party To Consider Alliance In Haryana. What AAP Says

Elections in Haryana are just a month away and preparations by political parties are in full swing. Amid the poll countdown, a big question is doing the rounds in political circles — will the Congress and the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) continue their alliance from the Lok Sabha polls?

In an interview to NDTV a week back, former Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda said there have been no talks on an alliance between the two parties. “The alliance we had was at the national level. We have not spoken to them. Here the fight is between BJP and Congress,” he said. In the Lok Sabha election earlier this year, the Congress managed to win five seats in Haryana — a big improvement from 2019 when the BJP won the state’s all 10 seats. The AAP, however, scored zero in this general election in the state.

Rahul Gandhi Seeks Party Leaders’ View

Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, it is learnt, sought party leaders’ opinion on forging an alliance with AAP in the party’s election committee meeting yesterday. Mr Hooda, sources said, is ready to spare 3-4 seats for AAP candidates in the election to the 90-seat House. The Congress, it is learnt, has finalised 30 candidates and may release a list of candidates tomorrow. The Congress has not officially said anything on the discussion on an alliance with AAP.

Why Congress May Want Alliance

Mr Gandhi is now the Leader of the Opposition in Lok Sabha and this general election has denied the BJP a majority in the House. Against this backdrop, a big INDIA bloc win in Haryana will be another setback to the ruling party. The Congress leadership would be looking at strengthening the Opposition bloc and acting as the big brother in the INDIA bloc, putting pressure on BJP inside and outside Parliament. For a Haryana victory, it is critical to prevent division of votes. Hence, the Congress may be looking to forge an alliance, provided the state leadership plays ball.

What Is The AAP View

Senior AAP leader and MP Sanjay Singh has welcomed reports that Mr Gandhi had asked leaders to explore the option of an alliance with AAP. He said a final call on this will be taken after consulting Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, in jail in a money laundering case.

“We welcome it. Our priority is to defeat the BJP… Our Haryana in-charge Sandeep Pathak and Sushil Gupta will discuss it and take a final decision and inform Arvind Kejriwal about it and a decision will be taken accordingly…,” Mr Singh has said.

Earlier, Mr Kejriwal said AAP will contest all 90 seats in Haryana alone.

Hard Bargaining Likely

The Congress and AAP had tied up for the 10 Lok Sabha seats in Haryana and the Chandigarh parliamentary seat. While the Congress won five seats in Haryana and the Chandigarh seat too, AAP did not benefit much from the alliance. Shortly after the poll results, a section of AAP’s Haryana leaders blamed the Congress for the defeat of its candidate Sushil Gupta in Haryana’s Kurukshetra. Against this backdrop, any alliance talk between AAP and Congress for the upcoming election is likely to see hard bargaining from both sides.
