‘I’m Expecting Baby Number Two’: Sophia Grace Announces She’s 20 Weeks Along with Her Second Child

Sophia Grace Brownlee, the British influencer who became famous after going viral with her cousin Rosie McClelland on The Ellen DeGeneres Show in 2011, has revealed that she is expecting her second child. The 21-year-old announced the news on her YouTube channel on Sunday, Aug. 25, sharing her excitement and providing an update on her pregnancy journey thus far.

In a video titled “I’M PREGNANT BABY NUMBER 2,” Sophia Grace confirmed the news many of her fans had speculated about. “So as you can see by the title of this video, I am expecting baby number two,” she said, clearly excited to share the news with her followers. “I am so excited to be doing this video, I’ve been hiding this for a super long time.”

Sophia Grace, who already has an 18-month-old son named River, explained that her cautious nature influenced her decision to keep the pregnancy a secret for several months. “As a very paranoid, very anxious person, I always like to wait until I’m at least like around the 20-week mark,” she said. “And I almost am.”

The young mother expressed her excitement to share her pregnancy journey with her YouTube audience once more. Reflecting on her previous pregnancy, she mentioned how much she enjoyed creating content about her experience. She said that she is actually finding out the gender today and she can’t even explain just how excited she is and that video will be coming soon.

Sophia Grace showed her growing baby bump in the video, standing to the side to provide her subscribers with a better view. She mentioned that she feels smaller this time around, but her excitement is as strong as ever.

Sophia Grace didn’t just announce her pregnancy; she also shared a glimpse into her journey thus far. The video included clips from her first midwife appointment, initial scan, and 12-week scan, giving fans an up-close look at these significant milestones.

She also talked about some of the medical precautions she takes because of her previous pregnancy. She said that because she had a cesarean section and dilated to 10 cm in her first pregnancy, the doctors treat that as a caution that she could possibly have preterm labor. She said that it’s very uncommon but it does happen.

Sophia Grace went on to explain how her medical team is closely monitoring her, including cervix checks to ensure everything is going as planned. “My first cervix check went well,” she explained, adding that she will have another in four weeks.

After Stree 2 cameo Akshay Kumar to have solo film in Maddock Supernatural Universe? Writer Niren Bhatt answers

Akshay Kumar’s cameo in Stree 2, featuring Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao, created a significant buzz both at the box office and online. The film concluded on a cliffhanger, hinting at the possibility of continuing storylines for several characters from the sequel. In a recent interview, Stree 2 writer Niren Bhatt addressed these developments and revealed whether fans can expect to see more of Kumar or perhaps a full-fledged film centered around his character.

In a recent chat with India Today, When asked about the future of the character and if they are planning to show Akshay in a better and bigger way in more movies from the ‘Stree’ universe, the writer said, “I won’t be able to reveal much. But, rest assured, we have plans for each and every character in the universe. Even the smallest and the biggest of them.” He hinted that Akshay’s role is not a lucky appearance, but might be stretched into a full-fledged role in the future.

He explained that within this universe, all characters are interconnected and interact in various ways, allowing for numerous movie possibilities. He expressed enthusiasm about the potential of creating a standalone film featuring Akshay Kumar, noting that their task is to explore the best angles and narratives. He emphasized that as long as they are dedicated to writing for this universe, there are limitless possibilities for what can be achieved.

The actor made a surprising appearance in a special role during the second half of Stree 2. Although his character’s real name remains undisclosed, he is depicted as the leader of a hospital for the mentally disabled. Introduced as the sole surviving member of Sarkata’s bloodline, he possesses the knowledge needed to eliminate the ghost permanently.

Niren also shared the story of how Kumar was approached for his cameo. He admitted that he initially thought the role was “too weak” for Akshay and doubted he would accept. Niren recounted that during the making of Skyforce, director Amar Kaushik suggested pitching the scene to Akshay, despite Niren’s reservations. To his surprise, Sarfira actor responded positively, saying he was interested and eager to take on the role.

“Hoping For Justice…”: Young Kerala Actor Claims Rape By Actor Baburaj

A junior artiste in the Malayalam film industry has accused award-winning actor and director Baburaj of rape, adding to the flood of sexual abuse complaints against senior Mollywood figures, sordid details of many of which were revealed in the Justice Hema Committee report last week.

The report – which includes shocking stories of abuse – was submitted to the Kerala government in 2019 but made public only now, after clearing legal challenges from film industry members.

Speaking to NDTV on condition of anonymity the young woman said she had been lured to Baburaj’s home in Aluva in Kerala’s Ernakulam district on the pretext of discussions, with other directors, over a possible film role. She said she was then verbally abused and sexually assaulted by the 58-year-old.

“He called me to his house… saying screenwriters and directors were coming to discuss my role. I believed him and went… There he showed me room to rest and, after some time, called me to dinner. I had locked the door. When I opened it he barged inside, locked it again and raped me.”

Baburaj, the Joint Secretary of the Association of Malayalam Movie Actors, or AMMA, has denied the charges and, according to media reports, has declared he will initiate legal action against his accuser.

He also claimed the allegation was an attempt to prevent him from replacing actor Siddique, who also faces sexual assault charges and who resigned Sunday as the General Secretary.

The woman said she did not immediately file a complaint but, a year later, approached police in Ernakulam, where a senior cop – whom she identified as “Sasidharan sir” – advised her to file a FIR.

However, she said she could do so then as she was abroad with her husband.

She told NDTV, though, she does intend to file a complaint with the SIT.

“A DIG-rank (Deputy Inspector General) police officer called me… she was from the SIT. I told her I will file a FIR when I return,” she told NDTV, adding she expects to be back in Kerala this week.

“I am hoping for justice,” she said, “… because I think the SIT will act sincerely.”

The young woman also told NDTV she is not alone in facing sexual assault, abuse, and harassment from senior Kerala film personalities, and called on the centre and state governments to work together to ensure a safe space for women in this and other film industries.

“The government should take action against those guilty of sexual abuse and harassment. Incidents like this are increasing daily and women who have suffered this harassment need support.”

And, in a heart-breaking plea, she also called on AMMA, which claims “empowering women” among its organisational goals, to live up its claims and create a safe space for women in Mollywood.

The young woman is far from the only person to have made sexual assault complaints.

Another actor, Minu Muneer, has accused prominent actors M Mukesh and Jayasurya, as well as two others, of physically and verbally abusing her on the sets of a movie in 2013.

“I had a bitter experience while shooting… I went to the restroom and when I came out, Jayasurya hugged me and kissed me without my consent. I was shocked and I ran out,” she told NDTV.

Maniyanpilla Raju, one of those accused by Ms Muneer, has called for an investigation into the allegations, claiming multiple vested interests are behind the accusations.

In another incident, the same actor said she approached AMMA Secretary Idavela Babu for a membership application. She said he called her over to his flat where he physically abused her.

Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan, under severe scrutiny, announced a seven-member SIT to probe all sexual assault charges. That has not, however, stopped the predictable avalanche of political attacks from the opposition BJP and the Congress-led United Democratic Front.
