Samantha Ruth Prabhu has voiced her concerns over the horrifying Kolkata rape and murder case, urging for immediate reforms to ensure women’s safety. At the World Pickleball event in Mumbai on Tuesday, Samantha expressed her frustration, stating, “It is the need of the hour. I hope the change comes really soon.” Her comments reflect growing discontent over repeated incidents of violence against women.

This tragic case has sparked widespread outrage among Bollywood celebrities. Kareena Kapoor Khan criticized the stagnation in justice, noting, “12 years later, the same story, the same protest.” Preity Zinta called the case “heartbreaking” and stressed the need for strict punishments for those who are guilty.

Hrithik Roshan also advocated for severe penalties to deter such crimes, while other stars like Alia Bhatt and Kangana Ranaut have echoed similar sentiments, calling for systemic changes and swift action.

Kiara Advani penned down a heartfelt note on her parents anniversary today. The actress shared a string of beautiful pictures. The pictures featured the actress’ parents on their wedding day, the Advani fam-jam and the new edition to the family, son-in-law, Sidharth Malhotra. In one of the pictures the two couples can be seen enjoying a game of cards with Kiara caption, “Best card partners.”

The success bash of Stree 2 took place recently. The bash witnessed B-town celebrities having the time of their lives celebrating the stupendous achievement of the film. The film which featured a stellar cast ensemble including Shraddha Kapoor, Rajkummar Rao, Pankaj Tripathi, Tamannaah Bhatia, Varun Dhawan and Aparshakti Khurrana, has entered the Rs 200 crore club if we count its worldwide box-office collection.
