A former IPS officer’s book linked the 2005 kidnapping of an Indore industrialist’s son to the bridal gown of Dawood Ibrahim’s daughter. Tailor Ismail Khan, accused in the kidnapping, had connections with Dawood’s lieutenant Aftab Alam. Ismail remains absconding, while the case has regained attention post the book’s publication.
