The second season of Amazon Prime Video’s fantasy series The Rings of Power is set to launch later this month, and LOTR fans are buzzing with excitement. The final trailer promises a darker and more epic outing than ever before.

An almost four-minute teaser debuted at SDCC, revealing several spoilers and giving fans a glimpse of what’s to come. Among the surprises are the Entwives, a new addition to the cast that fans didn’t see coming.

The teaser showcases the Siege of Eregion, the season’s major battle, expected to unfold in the final episodes. It also includes character-driven scenes, such as High King Gil-galad and Cirdan the Shipwright discussing the perils of the magic-infused rings. The video features a montage of ominous situations facing Middle-earth’s various groups.

Later on, some of the unusual alliances and dynamics in season 2 become clearer. The relationship between Celebrimbor and Annatar—one of Sauron’s many aliases—is central to this season’s plot. As indicated by the first teaser, Annatar manipulates Celebrimbor into forging the Rings of Power.

Additionally, the trailer hints at a surprising partnership between Galadriel and Adar, the leader of the orc army. It seems Adar still has reservations about Sauron, suggesting a complex dynamic. However, this might be a clever example of trailer editing, implying that Galadriel and Adar might collaborate for a time.

Around 1:30 in the season 2 finale trailer, there’s a major revelation. Among the many surprises leading up to the return of the high fantasy series is the confirmation that season 2 will feature the first live-action appearance of a beloved Lord of the Rings character.

The most unexpected news is the introduction of a youthful Saruman, one of Middle-earth’s five Wizards who ultimately betrayed his own kind to ally with Sauron in The Lord of the Rings. From his brief appearance in the teaser, it appears that Ciarán Hinds (known for Treason and Belfast), who was rumored to play Saruman, will indeed be portraying the character.

J.D. Payne and Patrick McKay are the showrunners for The Rings of Power, which premiered in September 2022. The second season is set to premiere on Amazon Prime Video on August 29.

Ed Sheeran Surprises Fans at Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour in London, Duo Delivers Stunning Performance at Wembley Stadium; WATCH

Taylor Swift is notorious for surprising her fans in every way possible. The singer pulled the same move as she and her longtime friend, Ed Sheeran performed together during her Eras Tour show held at Wembley Stadium.

Now, at this point, Swifties and Sheeran’s fans are well aware of the deep bond of friendship that the artists share with each other, so it surely made the fans’ entire experience wholesome.

On August 15 (Thursday), both singers wowed the audience with their amazing artistry. The Wildest Dreams singer, while talking about Sheeran expressed, “This is one of my best friends in the world to the point where I feel like he’s a second brother of mine.”

She added that they toured alongside each other in her album Red’s Tour and each time she performs the “Red” part of this show, she recalls all the memories that they made.

Swift mentioned that the Galway Girl singer frequently performed at Wembley. She recognized his dedication, noting that he was busy touring and probably feeling exhausted. She continued, “But he wanted to come and play for you and do this for all of us so give it up for Ed Sheeran,” per Variety’s article.

Swift and Sheeran performed Everything Has Changed, End Game, and Thinking Out Loud. This union was extra special as both the acclaimed performers came together onstage after a long time.

The most recent collaboration between them took place in 2022 when Swift lent her voice to the remix of Sheeran’s song, The Joker and the Queen. Swift returned on stage on Thursday after the cancellation of her three shows in Vienna and Austria which were a result of an alleged terror plot during the shows, per People Magazine.

As far as Swift’s June run for London’s Eras Tour Show goes, the singer became a part of multiple headlines mainly because of her boyfriend and NFL player, Travis Kelce making his Eras Tour debut and Prince William along with his elder children, Prince George and Princess Charlotte paying a visit to the singer backstage.

The Era’s Tours European leg will conclude on August 20 and in October the Grammy-winning artist will perform in five locations in North America, per the publication.

LISA is a New Woman in recent song with Rosalia

BLACKPINK’s main dancer and rapper LISA recently released a new song, titled New Woman. The track, featuring Rosalia, is upbeat and opens with fast verses that offer a glimpse into Lisa’s transformation into a “new woman.”

Directed by Dave Meyers, the video shows LISA and Rosalia in stylish poses. Lisa confidently sings in English, while Rosalia starts her verses with Spanish. The track is introduced as a courtesy of “Lalisa and Rosalía.”

The song switches paces actively and slows down before Rosalía’s part. She starts her part while whispering in Spanish, “Yo vivo pa’ cantar, no canto pa’ vivir.” (“I live to sing, not sing to live.”)

The singer recently also released her single Rockstar. She is also set to co-headline the Global Citizen Festival in September alongside Post Malone, Doja Cat, Jelly Roll and Rauw Alejandro.
