Kim Kardashian Accused of Initiating Romance with Kanye West During On-and-Off Relationship with Reggie Bush

Kim Kardashian has been in the celebrity forefront since her teen years and has taken on all odds that come with living public life. Her personal life, especially her love life, has been scrutinized by millions and even shared through reality television with Keeping Up With the Kardashians and now on Hulu’s The Kardashians. Over the years she has been in multiple relationships.

One of the most discussed relationships in Kardashian‘s dating history was that with NFL star Reggie Bush. The relationship lasted on and off from the years 2007-2010. Their first breakup was in 2009 because of conflicting schedules. Though they did try to reunite and even began searching for a house, their heavy schedules once again took a toll on them, and they were reported to have finally ended things. According to Life & Style, however, Bush hadn’t given up on Kardashian just yet. Apparently, he also bombarded her with hundreds of texts and left voicemails saying that she was “making a mistake” when she decided to marry Kris Humphries in August 2011, and that he could be the one who would make her happy.

Shockingly, while Kardashian was still dating Bush, her crush on rapper Kanye West was rather obvious. The two finally became official in May 2014 after dating for two years, though there were rumors that Kardashian had been interested in West way before the two had even started dating. Sources close to the situation have told RadarOnline.com that the SKIMS founder had been sending messages to West during her rocky relationship with Bush, which finally ended in 2010. A source revealed, “Kim tried a few times to get an affair going with Kanye and always got caught by Reggie for it. It caused a couple of their breakups.” Those rumors kept Kardashian able to remain clear of reports pertaining to spending time alone with West.

Even though Kardashian was in love with Reggie Bush, she has supposedly admitted to becoming obsessed with Kanye West, who appeared to be so “fashionable and exciting in a way that Reggie just wasn’t.” Everyone could see that she was in love with West, and finally, this obsession consumed her. However, a source soon came forward to clear up the rumors by stating that Kardashian no longer had any contact with Bush whatsoever. According to the source, “She is absolutely one-hundred percent not in contact with Reggie, despite crossing paths with him. She even lets Kanye look at her phone every night to put his doubts at ease.”

On the other hand, Kanye West was quite bent on capturing Kardashian’s heart as well. The rapper seems to have spent nearly nine years in the pursuit of wooing her to be his date, even while he had a girlfriend, Amber Rose. West’s pursuit didn’t stop there—among his several rather bold moves was allegedly Photoshopping himself next to Kardashian in their family Christmas card and sending it to her, professing his undying love. His explanation for this act was, “I just dreamed about being next to her.” Subsequently, Amber Rose accused Kardashian of inappropriate behavior with West while he and Amber Rose were still in a relationship, saying that Kardashian would call, text, and send pictures to the rapper.

This mutual attraction that had brought Kardashian and West together ultimately led to a marriage that seemed to realize both parties’ dreams. The tale of their love—a story of perseverance and obsession—was one of the most interesting chapters in Kim Kardashian‘s life.

Taylor Swift Ends Kanye West’s No. 1 Albums Streak As TTPD Retains Top Spot On Billboard Charts For 14th Week Over Vultures 2

Taylor Swift’s Tortured Poet’s Department just surpassed Kanye West and Ty Dolla Sign’s Vutures 2 album streak on the Billboard 200. The Songstress album debuts its 14th week on the charts. It appears that Karma is on Taylor’s side, pun intended.

It should not come as a surprise that Vulture 2’s streak of spending 11 consecutive weeks at number 1 on the charts was surpassed by Swift, mostly because her fanbase has kept getting larger, especially over the last few years.

The Billboard 200 charts, list the top albums of the week in the United States based on multi-metric consumption, which is measured in equivalent album units. This is data compiled by Luminate.

According to Billboard, Luminate compiled the data, which mentioned that the TTPD has 142,000 equivalent album units garnered in the U.S. on the weekend of August 8.

Before Swift, the last person to spend No. 1 on the Billboard 200, whose album spent at least 14 weeks on the chart was Morgan Wallen with his, One Thing At A Time album. From March 2023 to this March, it lasted over 19 consecutive weeks on the top. Apart from the Wildest Dreams vocalist, Adele was the last female musician to spend at least 14 weeks on the chart. She spent 24 consecutive weeks on the chart at No. 1 between 2011 and 2012 with her album titled 21.

Vulture 2, now debuting at number 2 on the chart, has 107,000 equivalent album units, per the publication. This is yet another album on Ye’s list that has reached the top two spots on the charts.

But it is interesting to see the global pop star stay ahead of the rapper mostly because of the notorious beef they had post-release of West’s Famous song.

In 2017, Swift released Reputation, which talked about the beef in multiple songs. It is also to be noted that Kim, Kanye’s then-wife, was also heavily involved in this drama.

Apart from this, back in 2009, the Flashing Lights vocalist took away Swift’s limelight during the 2009 MTV Video Music Awards. The songstress had won the awards for Best Female Video, but the rapper interrupted her moment on the stage and declared that Beyonce had the best video song.

But it appears that all these controversies have made Swift stronger, as she has only gone ahead and met with success with whatever work she has put forth. Her latest album, TTPD, was released on April 19, 2024.

Olympics Watching, Dinner With Colleagues: Hours Before Doctor’s Rape-Murder

The 31-year-old doctor, who was raped and killed at RG Kar Medical College and Hospital late on Thursday night, watched Neeraj Chopra’s silver-winning throw at Paris Olympics along with four colleagues hours before the horrifying incident snuffed out her life.

All the doctors, reports say, were on night duty and ordered out. They ate together while watching Neeraj Chopra’s stunning show. The victim then called up her mother, told her that she had eaten and asked her to have dinner. Dinner done, her colleagues left for their workstations while she stayed in the seminar hall to study.

According to some reports, she dozed off at some point. The CCTV footage on the basis of which the accused, Sanjoy Roy, was arrested showed him entering the Emergency building — where the victim was — around 4 am. At 7.30 am the next morning, her body was found. A preliminary examination found injuries on eyes, mouth, face, private parts and limbs.

Police have now decided to question the doctor’s four colleagues who were on night duty that day, reports say.

The investigators are also not ruling out the involvement of more people in the crime. Commission of Police Vineet Goyal today said all those who were at the place of occurrence are being called in for questioning. “We have already started a helpline number. Doctors can tell us (give information by calling on the helpline). They can communicate anonymously. They can come and talk to us physically too. They can tell us if they suspect someone and the reasons behind it. We are certain that in next 4-5 days, if there are more culprits, we will be able to arrest them,” he said after visiting the victim’s home with Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee.

The Chief Minister has set a deadline for the city police and said that if they do not complete the investigation by Sunday, the state government would recommend a CBI probe.

“There were nurses and others around. I still don’t understand how this incident took place. The parents have told me that they suspect the involvement of an insider. I have told the police that if there is any such doubt against anyone, the victim’s friends, the first caller, and others should be questioned,” she said after meeting the victim’s family.

“I want the police to arrest the culprits as soon as possible. If they are not able to crack the case by Sunday, we will not keep the case in our hands anymore and hand it over to the CBI. I don’t have an issue with them taking over but their success rate is low,” she added.

The accused, Sanjoy Roy, was arrested the day after the incident. He was a civic volunteer attached with Kolkata Police and frequented the state-run hospital. Roy was tracked down after CCTV footage showed him entering the building early that morning and a Bluetooth headset pairing with his phone was found at the crime scene.
