Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman delighted fans at the premiere of It Ends With Us, starring Blake Lively in the lead role.
The two costars and real-life best friends supported Lively, who is Reynolds’ wife. The premiere took place at AMC Lincoln Square Theater on August 6, 2024. Ryan Reynolds appeared on the red carpet with his wife, showing love and support. He also shared a moment of bromance with Hugh Jackman, posing for photos in elegant outfits.
Reynolds wore an olive-green suit with a floral boutonniere, a nod to his wife’s character, Lily, a florist. Jackman opted for all-white casuals, pairing a T-shirt with matching pants and a grey jacket.
Blake Lively dazzled in a vintage Versace gown, previously worn by Britney Spears at the 2002 Milan Fashion Week. The dress complemented the floral theme Lively embraced for her character.
It Ends With Us is a romantic drama directed by Justin Baldoni and adapted from the 2016 novel by Colleen Hoover.
Besides Blake Lively in the lead role, the movie features Brandon Sklenar as Lively’s onscreen love interest. Other cast members include Justin Baldoni, Jenny Slate, Isabela Ferrer, and more.
Blake Lively’s character, Lily, navigates her way out of a traumatic childhood while seeking a fresh start. She meets a neurosurgeon and sparks a connection with him, but soon discovers aspects of him that reconnect her to her past trauma and her parents’ troubled relationship.
The film is penned by Christy Hall along with Colleen Hoover.
It Ends With Us will be released on August 9, 2024.
