‘One Day You’ll…’: Firerose Posts Motivational Quote Amid Ongoing Divorce From Billy Ray Cyrus

Trigger Warning: The following article contains explicit words

On Friday, August 2, Australian singer Firerose posted a motivational quote to her Instagram story. This post was made during her ongoing divorce from Billy Ray Cyrus. The quote, “One day you’ll look back and see God walked with you every step of the way,” was set to the song Honest by Leanna Crawford. Firerose’s post reflects her efforts to remain optimistic and find strength during this difficult time.

Earlier this week, Firerose, formerly Johanna Hodges, thanked her friends for their support. She shared a video of herself on a boat with friends on a lake. The caption reads, “It’s not what, but who we have in life that matters 🫶🏼,” and includes the song With a Little Help from My Friends by The Beatles.

Billy Ray Cyrus filed for divorce from Firerose on May 23, citing irreconcilable differences and inappropriate marital behavior, according to court documents obtained by People. The couple had been married seven months.

The divorce filing stemmed from an alleged altercation in which Firerose accused Cyrus of “extreme verbal, emotional, and psychological abuse.” Cyrus claimed that Firerose verbally, emotionally, and physically abused him. Both sides have made serious allegations, complicating the divorce process.

On July 26, Firerose responded publicly to leaked audio of a private conversation between her and Cyrus. In the audio, a man, allegedly Cyrus, can be heard berating Firerose for arriving late to an event.

The man is heard saying, “It’s 9:15, you idiot. I needed to leave two hours ago,” to which Firerose responds, “No, you didn’t. You can still leave and get there in time.” The conversation becomes heated, with the man saying, “Shut the f— up,” and calling Firerose a “f—ing selfish b*tch.” Firerose responded, “Please stop screaming at me.”

Cyrus responded to the leaked audio via his representative on Instagram, saying he was “at my wit’s end” and accusing Firerose of being a fraud. His lawyers, Rose Palermo and Jason Talley claimed the audio leak was “an apparent last-ditch effort to squeeze money out of Mr. Cyrus.”

Beyoncé and Tina Knowles Share Their Candid Reactions To Simone Biles’s Win At Paris Olympics 2024; SEE HERE

Tina Knowles, who is known to share her honest reactions and opinions on her social media, shared another post doing the same. But this time, it was with her daughter and the global superstar Beyoncé.

On Saturday, August 3, Knowles shared a video on her Instagram consisting of the All Night singer’s and her live reaction to the 27-year-old gymnast winning an all-around artistic gymnasts competition at the Paris Olympics.

The video did not capture their faces. Instead, their cheerful and happy voices can be heard as the camera captures Biles’s win in the prestigious games.

Beyoncé can be heard saying, “Come on, Simone, Come On.” Many people have been circulating this video online on different social media websites as well.

After Biles’s historic win, the 42-year-old singer took part in an official NBC video that celebrated the 27-year-old’s win.

In the video, Beyoncé said, “Let’s talk about power, because, really, that’s what this story’s about — physical power. Its beauty. Its wonder. The way it never stops amazing you.”

The Everything Is Love songstress also said, “Only a select few know what it’s like to get to the top and stay there — and somehow keep getting better … Gold can be a hell of a journey, and the greatest of all time is willing to put that title on the line every time she walks out there.”

Simone Biles won a gold medal. She along with her teammate Suni Lee, who earned a bronze medal, held the American flag proudly as they stormed the floor in Paris on August 1, according to US Weekly.

The 27-year-old’s win is one of the notable ones.  During the 2016 Olympics held in Rio De Janeiro, she achieved a gold. While competing during the event held in Tokyo in 2020, she dropped out of the competition stating that she was going through “the twisties,” which makes gymnasts lose awareness of their own body’s sensations in the air, per the outlet.

With one more gold added to her wins, she created history making her the most celebrated gymnast.

Another reason why Biles is one of the most famous and looked up to gymnasts is because of the way she uses her platform. She has been actively vocal about mental health issues.

After her 2020 withdrawal from the competition, she garnered a lot of backlash for the decision she made. During the Paris Olympics, Biles shared a picture of herself sitting with legs crossed and eyes closed. She simply captioned it, “mental health matters.”

Nine children have died and several others injured after a wall collapsed at a temple in Madhya Pradesh’s Sagar district this morning. The tragic incident took place during a religious ceremony at Hardaul Baba temple in Shahpur. The injured children have been rescued and hospitalised.

Rescue work after the incident was carried out by police with the help of local residents. Visuals showed an earthmover at work to remove the rubble after the wall collapse. Top officials have now reached the spot. District officials have said the children were in the 10-15 years age group.

Chief Minister Mohan Yadav has said he is pained by the incident. “I hope those injured recover soon. My condolences with families who lost their children. The government will provide each family with an assistance of Rs 4 lakh,” he said.

The incident comes a day after four children died in a wall collapse incident in the state’s Rewa district. The children, in the 5-7 years age group, were returning from school when the wall collapsed. The owners of the house, the wall of which collapsed, have been arrested.

Incidents of wall collapse are being reported as Madhya Pradesh receives heavy rain. As many as 200 people have died in rain-related incidents in the state this year. About 206 houses have been completely damaged, and 2,403 have suffered partial damage.
