On Friday, a Pune court granted interim protection from arrest to Dilip Khedkar, the father of probationary IAS officer Puja Khedkar, until July 25. This decision comes in a case where he is accused of threatening a person with a gun over a land dispute. Additionally, the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has initiated criminal action against Puja Khedkar for allegedly exceeding the permissible number of attempts for the civil services exam by using fraudulent means.
