Vicky Kaushal recently revealed how he felt when wife Katrina Kaif applauded him for his moves in the song Tauba Tauba from his upcoming film Bad Newz starring Triptii Dimri, Ammy Virk and Neha Dhupia.

Vicky said, “She is in a different league. She’s just too good at what she does… humne bas visarjan mein dance kiya hai. I am not a trained dancer. That approval is like an Oscar.”

On receiving a positive response from her, Vicky further added, “The biggest relief was when she approved of the song. She was like this is good. And I was like shukaar hai (heave a sigh of relief). She keeps telling me, ‘I know you love to dance. But you are a baraati dancer, and not a trained one’. That’s because I get carried away, and she tells me that is fine in real life, but I need to preserve the energy for the camera”

Speaking about the pressure of staying relevant with changing times, Katrina said, “Time does not stand still for anyone, and with time comes evolution, and that’s exactly what you should be doing. I can’t—and shouldn’t—think that I am going to rewind myself and play a 21-year-old girl in a short pink miniskirt.”

Katrina further said, “It’s a game of survival. And that understanding isn’t about looking around you and trying to compete with people who are 20-21 because that would be insanity and, in fact, illogical. I have to look at it like, this is me and this is my space, and how I can be the best for this much, that role, or how I can improve on what I am doing. That’s honestly what I am looking for and looking to enjoy.”
