In the US presidential race, Donald Trump narrowly escaped an apparent assassination attempt at a campaign rally in Pennsylvania. Iskcon Kolkata vice-president Radharamn Das attributed Trump’s escape to divine intervention, recalling Trump’s support for Iskcon’s first Rathyatra in New York in 1976.
