The incident occurred as Trump stood before the audience, with blood visibly streaming from his ear and face. Melania Trump, Trump’s wife, expressed her distress upon witnessing the event, stating that she realized their lives were “on the brink of devastating change.” As shots were fired, Trump sustained a wound when a bullet pierced the upper part of his right ear.
