All eyes are on Stree 2 which releases on August 15, 2024, starring Rajkummar Rao and Shraddha Kapoor in the lead. The first part was one of the best films we’ve watched to date in the horror-comedy genre. Hence, it goes without saying why the masses have such high expectations.

Shraddha Kapoor arrived at the teaser launch of Stree 2 last evening in a gorgeous red saree. She looked lovely in her desi avatar as she graced her ocean of fans.

Fardeen Khan made a befitting comeback with Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar helmed by  Sanjay Leela Bhansali. Ever since he’s been in the news and is being asked about his impressive comeback after so many years.

On being asked whether he was in touch with any of his industry friends, he shared, “Salman, I have been in touch with pretty much throughout.” The two had worked together in No Entry which he said he got because of his impressive comedy scenes in Khushi alongside Kareena Kapoor Khan.

At least 10 people were killed after a tempo traveller carrying 23 passengers fell into a gorge in Uttarakhand on Saturday, officials said.

The accident took place on the Rishikesh-Badrinath highway near Raitoli in the Rudraprayag district.

The minibus fell into the Alaknanda River and teams of the State Disaster Response Force and police are currently engaged in rescue operations, officials said.

People who were standing on the roadside have sustained injuries in the accident, sources said.

Calling the incident “very sad news”, Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said that the district magistrate has been ordered to investigate the accident.

“I pray to God to grant the souls of the departed a place in his feet and provide strength to the bereaved family to bear this immense pain. I pray to Baba Kedar for the speedy recovery of the injured,” he posted in Hindi on X, formerly Twitter.
