Happy birthday, Prabhas! As the clock strikes midnight on Friday, October 23, millions of fans across India and beyond celebrate their beloved Darling. May the year ahead bring you boundless energy, good health and the same quiet strength that has made you a cherished icon. Shine on, Rebel Star!

One of the Most Prolific Pan-Indian Stars

Prabhas stands tall as one of the biggest pan-Indian stars, seamlessly bridging languages and audiences with his powerful screen presence. From the epic heights of Baahubali and the futuristic world of Kalki 2898 AD to the gritty action of Salaar, he continues to redefine stardom on a national scale. His impressive slate includes the period action drama Fauzi, Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s Spirit, Kalki 2 and Salaar: Part 2. These projects keep him firmly at the centre of India’s biggest cinematic conversations, with many now hailing him as “India’s Biggest Superstar.”

Fans Gear Up to Celebrate with Love and Positivity

Social media is buzzing with birthday preparations as fans organise special video tributes, hashtag campaigns such as #HappyBirthdayPrabhas, and community events. Celebrations include cake-cutting ceremonies, blood donation drives, food distribution programmes and lively bike rallies in several cities.

Over the past year, admirers have shared warm wishes, expressing their hopes for more powerful blockbuster performances, regular updates on upcoming films such as Fauzi and Spirit, and continued good health for the actor. They also hope he continues to inspire millions with his grounded nature.

Many simply want him to keep delivering larger-than-life roles that unite audiences nationwide. The Fauzi team is also planning a special visual surprise for the occasion. Through it all, the love remains unwavering, reflecting the deep bond between Prabhas and his devoted fans.

By his next birthday, Prabhas is expected to have a theatrical release in Fauzi, scheduled for March 2027, and could be gearing up for the release of Spirit, which is slated for October 29, 2027.

Director Prashanth Neel, known for KGF, is expected to begin pre-production on Salaar 2 after completing Dragon. To mark Prabhas’s birthday, Neel met the actor, and the two posed for a photograph. The film’s team shared the picture with a note: “A special day and a special reunion. Wishing our one and only Violent Man, #Prabhas a spectacular birthday! We can’t wait to see this DINO-mite duo back in action…Salaar 2.” Earlier, Neel’s wife, Likitha Reddy, shared a picture with Prabhas, describing him as an elder brother.

The sequel has been in limbo for a while. In May, Neel confirmed that Salaar 2 would be his next film after Dragon. This put to rest rumours that he had shelved the sequel after describing Dragon as his last film in the dark, hyper-stylised action genre. Dragon is slated for release on June 11, 2027.

Salaar 2 Delayed, but Not Shelved

Delays on both sides explain the wait. Dragon has taken longer than planned, and Neel cannot move on until it wraps. Prabhas, meanwhile, has a packed slate. Fauzi, Spirit and Kalki 2 are all in progress, and Spirit now has a revised release date of October 29, 2027. With both the director and the actor busy, Salaar 2 has continued to be pushed back.

Prabhas’s Line-up Is Tight

Prabhas’s birthday brought other updates too. The Kalki 2898 AD team shared a 32-second behind-the-scenes video from the sequel. It opens with the words “Bhairava is back” and shows Prabhas arriving on set in his character’s armour. Amitabh Bachchan and Kamal Haasan have also returned to the sets. About 90% of the shoot remains to be completed.

Meanwhile, the Fauzi team released a new poster. It shows a golden coin featuring Prabhas in a military uniform, surrounded by flames. Fauzi is scheduled to release in theatres in March 2027.

Ayushmann Khurrana and Tahira Kashyap ushered in the festive season with a Diwali party at their Mumbai residence, bringing together several familiar faces from the Hindi film industry. Pictures and videos from the gathering have surfaced on social media, offering a glimpse of the evening, which appeared to be filled with laughter, conversations and celebrations.

The couple, who have hosted Diwali gatherings for their industry friends in previous years, once again brought together a mix of actors, filmmakers and other prominent personalities for the occasion. The celebrations also come at an interesting time for Ayushmann, whose latest film, Udta Teer, released in theatres on October 23.

Sara Ali Khan, Karan Johar and other stars join the celebrations

Among those spotted at the gathering were Sara Ali Khan, filmmaker Karan Johar, producer Guneet Monga Kapoor, Shilpa Shetty, Arjun Kapoor, Malavika Mohanan, Bhumi Pednekar and Rajkummar Rao, among others. The guest list reflected the couple’s close connections across different corners of the film industry.

Photographs and videos shared online captured moments from the party, with the attendees coming together to celebrate ahead of Diwali. While the gathering was an intimate affair by the standards of Bollywood’s elaborate festive parties, the presence of several popular personalities ensured that it caught the attention of fans online.

The event also continued a tradition for Ayushmann and Tahira, who have welcomed their friends from the industry to their home for Diwali celebrations over the years. Such gatherings have become a familiar part of the festive calendar, offering stars an opportunity to spend time together away from film sets and promotional commitments.

Ayushmann Khurrana’s Udta Teer releases in theatres

Meanwhile, Ayushmann has another reason to be in the spotlight with the release of Udta Teer. The spy comedy, which also stars Sara Ali Khan, hit cinemas on October 23 after its release date was rescheduled from October 9.

Directed by Aakash A Kaushik, the film centres on a Pakistani spy who loses his memory and finds himself supporting India, setting the stage for a comedy built around espionage and mistaken identity. The ensemble also features Ram Kapoor and Rahul Bose, among others.

Produced by Karan Johar, Adar Poonawalla, Apoorva Mehta, Guneet Monga Kapoor and Achin Jain, the film brings together Dharma Productions and Sikhya Entertainment once again. With the Diwali festivities underway and Udta Teer now playing in cinemas, Ayushmann has had a busy week, balancing a new theatrical release with celebrations alongside friends and colleagues from the industry.
