The Hurun India Rich List 2026 is out, with Shah Rukh Khan continuing to be the richest Indian actor on the list. According to the latest rankings, the actor’s reported net worth stands at Rs 10,000 crore, placing him ahead of several other prominent names from the Hindi film industry.

Shah Rukh Khan’s reported wealth includes his various business ventures, including Red Chillies Entertainment and Knight Riders Sports. Amitabh Bachchan follows him on the list with a reported net worth of Rs 4,000 crore. Salman Khan and Hrithik Roshan have also featured, with reported net worths of Rs 3,000 crore and Rs 2,500 crore, respectively.

While Shah Rukh continues to hold the top spot among Indian actors, his latest reported wealth marks a decline from the previous edition of the Hurun India Rich List. In the 2025 edition, his net worth was estimated at Rs 12,490 crore. This means the latest figure reflects a reported decline of Rs 2,490 crore over the year.

Earlier this year, the Hurun Global Rich List had estimated Shah Rukh Khan’s net worth at Rs 10,800 crore. The latest Hurun India Rich List figure of Rs 10,000 crore is therefore also lower than that estimate.

Despite the reported change in his wealth, Shah Rukh Khan continues to occupy the highest position among actors featured in the 2026 India Rich List.

The latest edition also marks Salman Khan’s first appearance on the list. Meanwhile, Juhi Chawla and Karan Johar, who featured in the 2025 edition, do not appear in the 2026 ranking.

With a reported net worth of Rs 10,000 crore, Shah Rukh Khan continues to lead the list of Indian actors featured in the Hurun India Rich List 2026, even as the latest estimate is lower than the figure reported for him last year.

Jeremy Strong is set to portray Facebook co-founder and Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg in Aaron Sorkin’s upcoming film The Social Reckoning. While the film’s trailers have already offered audiences a glimpse of Strong’s transformation, Sorkin has now opened up about the actor’s intense approach to the role.

In a recent interview, the filmmaker revealed, “Jeremy does a lot of his own work. He does a tremendous amount of work before he shows up on your set. He did not speak in his own voice on the set or walk the way Jeremy walks,” Sorkin told The Interview.

Sorkin also explained that he had prepared the rest of the cast for Strong’s approach, telling them not to expect the actor to interact with them casually between takes.

“I told all the other actors in his scenes: ‘Guys, he’s not going to be hanging out with you at craft service. He’s not going to be yucking it up with you between takes. He’s probably not going to speak to you at all. He is going to treat you the way he imagines Mark treats the people around him.’ And that’s what happened. You cannot argue with the results,” he added.

The Social Reckoning draws from the events surrounding the Wall Street Journal’s 2021 investigative series, The Facebook Files. The film follows Frances Haugen, played by Mikey Madison, a young Facebook engineer who becomes a whistleblower and seeks the help of Wall Street Journal reporter Jeff Horwitz, portrayed by Jeremy Allen White.

The story follows their journey as they uncover and expose some of the social media giant’s most closely guarded secrets.

Directed by Aaron Sorkin, The Social Reckoning stars Jeremy Strong as Mark Zuckerberg, alongside Mikey Madison and Jeremy Allen White in key roles.

Sony Pictures Entertainment India will release it exclusively in English across cinemas on October 9, 2026.
