Mohsin Akhtar Ex-Husband of Urmila Matondkar Ties The Knot With Nidhaa Bhatt

Mohsin Akhtar Mir, known for his work as a model and businessman, has remarried. Almost two years after his separation from Urmila Matondkar, Mohsin took to social media to share the news of his wedding to Nidhaa Bhatt.

 

The couple held an intimate traditional Nikah ceremony that was attended by close family and friends. After the event, Mohsin posted glimpses of the wedding on his social media accounts with an emotional caption reflecting on his personal journey.

He wrote, “Pure intentions, honest love, and a heart full of sabr and shukur. Keep your soul pure, heal along the way, and trust that Allah’s script is always better. In His perfect time, my gorgeous wifey @nidhab_ ,he rewarded me with your sincerity and blessed me .You brought light in my life. So thank you my love.”

 

In the same post, Mohsin also shared a moving tribute to his late mother, writing, “And thank you, Mouji, for looking after me from the other side of the world. I know it’s your blessing and your love for me that came like this. Today I know you will be more at peace. I miss you more than I could ever imagine, and I love you. Keep us in your prayers.”

For the wedding ceremony, the couple opted for an elegant aesthetic. Mohsin wore a cream-white traditional sherwani featuring delicate floral embroidery. Nidhaa Bhatt wore an off-white traditional sharara set detailed with golden zari and sequin embellishments, which she styled with heavy ethnic jewelry and a sheer veil.

 

Mohsin was previously married to Urmila Matondkar. The two had married in a private ceremony on February 4, 2016. After eight years of being together, Urmila filed for divorce in September 2024.
