Music composer Pritam’s latest social media post has sparked speculation among fans about whether he is planning to step away from mainstream music. The composer recently celebrated his birthday and took to Instagram to share a heartfelt note of gratitude. However, one line caught the attention of netizens.

 In his post, he mentioned that he has decided to “gift himself a few years” to live life differently.

His caption read, “Thank you for all the wishes. Can’t answer everyone individually, but please accept my sincere gratitude. Today, I have decided to gift myself a few years to live life differently. To catch up on what I’ve missed. Time to set off on new journeys, which have been kept on the back burner for long. Mainstream is a great ride. But I’ve always been more curious about the roads unexplored. Thank you for all the love & support. Always….

The note quickly went viral, with many fans wondering whether the composer was hinting at retirement or a break from mainstream Bollywood projects. The post drew even more attention because, a few months ago, singer Arijit Singh also announced that he was stepping back from playback singing.

One fan commented on Pritam’s post, “First Arijit, then you…taking a break from mainstream Bollywood Music. It will be loss for them, but for a true music lover it will be boon in disguise. Waiting for some magical & musical experience….perhaps with Arijit again!”g

One of the most successful music composers in Bollywood, Pritam has delivered chartbusters across several films. Over the years, he has created some of Bollywood’s most loved songs, including Tum Se Hi, Kesariya, Ilahi, Channa Mereya, Kabira and Gerua, cementing his place as one of the industry’s most influential composers.

Prakash Padukone, badminton legend and Deepika Padukone’s father, recently opened up about the actress and her husband, Ranveer Singh. He also spoke about their parenting style and how they are raising their daughter, Dua.

During a conversation with The Indian Express, he said, “Of course, Deepika does a lot more, but Ranveer helps a lot whenever he’s not working. Both families are also present to help.”

Talking about becoming a grandparent, he continued, “I think it’s great. It’s a totally different feeling to be a grandparent. I never expected this kind of a feeling. We used to wonder why grandparents fussed so much about their grandchildren. Now I completely understand.”

He further shared that when Dua visits Bengaluru, Prakash and his wife, Ujjala, ensure that the little one gets to enjoy simple outings while keeping her privacy in mind. “Keeping her privacy in mind, we have taken her on a Metro train. Last time, we went to Cubbon Park, took her on the Putani Express, and even in an auto.”

He also revealed that Dua enjoys playing padel. “She’s very fond of padel. There’s a nice padel ground very close to our house. We stay near Camp station, so she likes to see the trains. She’s a very friendly child, so she likes to mix with people. She says hello to almost everybody. She’s been travelling from a very young age. That has really helped. She’s growing up quite fast and at a very interesting stage right now.”

Meanwhile, Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh are all set to welcome their second child. On the work front, Ranveer delivered the blockbuster hits Dhurandhar and Dhurandhar: The Revenge. Meanwhile, Deepika will next be seen in Shah Rukh Khan’s King and Allu Arjun’s Raaka.
