Bhopal witnessed absolute numbers on Saturday night. The high-budget Peddi ki Aawaz event drew a large number of residents, although the exact number is not known. It served as the ultimate promotional kickoff for the upcoming Hindi version of the film, which hits screens on June 4. The crowd waited patiently despite a two-hour delay. Their patience proved how excited they were for the star-studded lineup.
The legendary AR Rahman made his presence felt. Rahman remarked that every single frame has 100 percent of Ram Charan. He added that the RRR star has matching dancing skills and unmatched energy. “Charan elevated the music to a whole new level,” the Mozart of Madras said. His dance moves truly made the song come alive and helped it achieve massive virality. Rahman even performed Rai Rai Raa Raa live for the ecstatic audience. A song titled Hellallallo, filmed on the Charan-Shruti Haasan-Janhvi trio was released.
The Rangasthalam actor did not hold back his immense confidence in the project. He openly declared to the gathering that Peddi will become the number one film in his entire career. He chanted Bharat Mata Ki Jai alongside the audience. Charan also promised the crowd that he would return to their city for a grand success meet. He shared that the film aims to inspire young Indian children to dream big and aspire for the Olympics. Interestingly, Charan spoke about the admirable qualities of cricketing greats like Sachin Tendulkar and MS Dhoni. The actor later realized the slip-up and handled it like an absolute pro. He took to X the next day to issue a graceful apology. He wrote that it was a genuine human error born out of the massive excitement and overwhelming crowd.
