It is Mother’s Day today, a celebration of the endless sacrifices, strength and wisdom of mothers. Across the world, people are showering love on the women who shaped their lives, and Bollywood celebrities are doing the same by sharing heartfelt tributes and precious memories with their mothers on social media.

Kareena Kapoor Khan marked Mother’s Day with a mix of emotion and humour on social media. The actress first shared a video of a woman talking about how sons become some of the most important people in a woman’s life. Reposting the clip on her Instagram Stories, Kareena simply wrote, “Happy Mother’s Day.”

She also shared a funny video of a woman hilariously thanking herself in a Mother’s Day speech. Sharing the clip, Kareena added, “Come on all mommies, this one’s for us.” 

Kareena has two sons, Taimur Ali Khan and Jehangir Ali Khan.

Ajay Devgn also joined in the celebrations. Taking to Instagram Stories, the actor shared a warm family photo featuring wife Kajol, her mother Tanuja and Ajay’s own mother. Sharing the picture, he wrote, “Always grateful to have these three forces of nature in my life. #HappyMothersDay.”

Priyanka Chopra shared a video with her mother, Madhu Chopra, from the Gold Gala, where the actress received the Global Vanguard Honour. 

Khushi Kapoor, on the other hand, reposted a collage made by her fan page featuring rare photos of the actress with her late mother, Sridevi. 

King and Munjya actor Abhay Verma also shared an adorable photo with his mother, along with the caption, “Jannat.. Aaj ka aur agle saare din aapke.. mai bhi”

Bollywood actress Katrina Kaif celebrated her first Mother’s Day this year after welcoming her son, Vihaan Kaushal, with husband Vicky Kaushal. The actress shared a heartwarming glimpse of the special celebration on social media, including a sweet card Vicky made for her, from son Vihaan’s side. 

Katrina and Vicky announced their pregnancy in September last year. Vihaan was born on November 7. The couple revealed their boy’s name this year through an adorable social media post. In the picture, Katrina can be seen placing her palm on Vicky’s palm, as she holds their son’s tiny hand.

Last week, they made a joint public appearance after a long time. The sighting came months after the couple welcomed Vihaan. Since then, Vicky has been frequently seen at public events, while Katrina has maintained a relatively low profile, stepping out only occasionally.

The couple had a grand but highly private wedding in December 2021. Their intimate, royal-style ceremony was held at the breathtaking Six Senses Fort Barwara in Sawai Madhopur, Rajasthan. Before getting married, Vicky and Katrina dated for a couple of years but kept their relationship under wraps.

On the work front, Katrina was last seen in the film Merry Christmas with Vijay Sethupathi and Vicky Kaushal was seen in the 2025 film Chhaava. It was a roaring success at the box office. He will next be seen in Love & War with Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt. The film is directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali.

Bollywood actress Alia Bhatt is all set to return to the prestigious Cannes Film Festival. After making her debut at the global event last year, the actress has once again jetted off to France for this year’s edition of the film festival. She was clicked at the airport last night before her departure.

For her travel look, the actress kept it effortlessly chic in a white top paired with a black coat, blue jeans and boots. 

Alia will be attending Cannes as a spokesperson for L’Oréal Paris, of which she is one of the global beauty ambassadors. She is expected to join an international line-up featuring names like Eva Longoria, Jane Fonda, and Viola Davis, among others.

Representing India alongside Alia will be fellow L’Oréal ambassadors Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Aditi Rao Hydari.
