Russia is reportedly deploying an updated version of the ‘Lancet’ suicide drone against Kyiv’s forces in the ongoing Ukraine conflict. This comes as unmanned technology continues to play a pivotal role in the battles in eastern and southern Ukraine, a report said. According to a recent analysis by the US-based Institute for the Study of War (ISW), Russian sources have indicated that Moscow’s troops have been using the “Izdeliye-53” weapons, a newer iteration of these drones, on a limited scale since around October 21.
