Alia Bhatt’s sister, Shaheen Bhatt, announced her engagement with fitness instructor Ishaan Mehra, a year after they made their relationship Instagram official. Shaheen announced the same through a social media post featuring the two of them.
The first photo sees her leaning towards Ishaan and flaunting her engagement ring. Another picture shows them walking hand in hand. She uploaded a couple of more mushy photos with her partner and captioned it as, “We may have overdone this whole liking each other thing.”

Her industry friends, family members and relatives took to the comment section to shower love on the couple, but the most precious reaction came from Shaheen’s sister, Alia. Like any other sibling, she left multiple comments on the post, expressing her love and excitement. She wrote, “Spamming you with my love”, and dropped several heart-shaped emojis.
She also took to Instagram’s story section and shared Shaheen’s post.

Interestingly, Shaheen’s former partner Rohan Joshi also congratulated the couple. Shaheen’s mother, Soni Razdan, wrote, “Congratulations my darlings pieces of my (heart emojis) (sic).”
Meanwhile, Alia and Shaheen run a production house called Eternal Sunshine Productions. Under this banner, they are backing the film Don’t Be Shy, which will be released on Amazon Prime Video. Besides this, Alia is working on Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Love & War. The film will see her reunite with Ranbir Kapoor and Vicky Kaushal. Besides this, she will also be seen in Yash Raj Films’ Alpha with Sharvari.
