For those unaware, Atlee and Shah Rukh collaborated on Jawan (2023). That film was Shah Rukh’s last release, until he announced King. Atlee’s last release was Jawan as well. Now he is gearing up for Raaka. The director also called Raaka his most personal film yet.
He mentioned, “Raaka isn’t just a film… it’s a part of me I’ve carried for years. For 18 years, I held on to one idea, never letting it fade. It tested me, shaped me, and stayed with me through everything. And honestly… this is just the beginning.”
