Global Creators Korbin Miles and Rick Segall React to Lord Rama Glimpse from Ramayana

Ramayana is already making waves across the globe with the unveiling of its first glimpse . Directed by Nitesh Tiwari and produced by Namit Malhotra, the project is being envisioned as a grand two-part global spectacle. To mark the occasion of Hanuman Janmotsav, the makers unveiled a special glimpse of Lord Ram, which instantly sparked worldwide conversation. The sheer ambition, scale, and visuals of the project have drawn admiration from international creators and industry insiders alike. Many have highlighted the breathtaking VFX and artistic vision, with global creators Krobin Miles and Rick Segall comparing its visual brilliance to James Cameron’s Avatar.

Global creator Rick Segall was high in his praise for the glimpse, mentioning the high production standards. He said, “In this trailer, for me, the takeaway was that this looked like you’re gonna get the visual artistry of something on the level of Cameron’s Avatar. It’s a lot of time to finish stuff up. This is like the epitome of what it means to be telling an Indian story that I think is coming at the right time for several reasons.”

Segall further added that the film feels designed for modern, large-scale viewing experiences. He shared, “I think the fact that it looks like it’s built for audiences that have grown to want Marvel and Avatar and the spectacles on IMAX on that large a level. Another thing, though, this trailer gave me the idea that the world needs now really badly, is hope. And I think that’s what this trailer is about.”

Korbin Miles also expressed his excitement about the quality of the footage. He shared, “I knew some of those visuals from stuff I’ve already seen. I thought it looked really, really cool. Obviously, they’re probably still gonna be working on a lot of stuff until the very end.”

Ramayana features a powerhouse cast to bring this age-old narrative to life. Ranbir Kapoor plays the role of Lord Ram, while Sai Pallavi plays Sita. They are joined by Yash as Ravana, Sunny Deol as Hanuman, and Ravi Dubey as Lakshman.
