The war drama Border 2 was one of the anticipated films this year. A sequel of the iconic Border, the film stars Sunny Deol, Diljit Dosanjh, Varun Dhawan and Ahan Shetty, among others. And after a successful theatrical run, the film is all set to be released on OTT.
Streaming giant Netflix shared a video on its official Instagram handle featuring an envelope with “Netflix” written on it. The song Ghar Kab Aaoge played in the background of the announcement video.
They captioned the clip as, “Chitthi ab Netflix aa gayi hai (The letter has now arrived on Netflix). Watch Border 2, out March 20, on Netflix!”

Border 2 also stars Mona Singh, Anya Singh, Sonam Bajwa and Medha Rana.
Border 2 is set against the backdrop of the 1971 Indo-Pak war. It focuses on the combined effort of the Indian Army, Navy and Air Force to keep the borders of our country secure. It is directed by Anurag Singh and backed by producers Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, J.P. Dutta and Nidhi Dutta under the banners of T-Series Films and J.P. Films.
Filmfare rated the film 3.5 out of 5 and wrote, “Ultimately, Border 2 works best as a tribute, not a reinvention. It honours real heroes, celebrates inter-service unity, delivers rousing action and solid performances, and provides audiences with the comforting familiarity of patriotic spectacle. What it lacks is the raw, unfiltered emotional abandon that made the original Border an enduring cultural artefact. This is a safe, well-mounted successor, stirring in parts, respectable in intent but one that reminds us that legacy is not merely inherited; it must also be boldly reimagined.”
