The R-rated Deadpool & Wolverine starring Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman finally has a trailer. And it’s full of Marvel Easter Eggs. Set to Madonna’s Like a Prayer, the full-length trailer offers a glimpse of what fans can expect from the buddy action comedy.

Cassandra Nova has been revealed as the villain

Fans have been waiting for a closer look at The Crown star Emma Corrin’s full look as Cassandra Nova and the trailer of Deadpool & Wolverine delivers. The character who is Professor Charles Xavier’s evil sister in the comics, seems to be in the Void, a wasteland where she’s leading her Brotherhood of Mutants. She is expected to be a formidable villain as she uses her powers against Wolverine.

Ant-Man’s massive skull shows up

The trailer suggests that Cassandra Nova has turned Ant-Man’s giant skull into a base of some sort from where she operates. While this Easter Egg is interesting, it doesn’t bring good news about Scott Lang’s Ant-Man. It is unclear how the helmet got there.

There is a Loki connection

The teasers already hinted at a connection between Deadpool & Wolverine and Loki. The trailer sees the duo fighting in a vast landscape just like the Void at the End of Time we see in the Loki series. We also see Alioth. The monster was last seen in Loki Season 2.

Deadpool and Wolverine go through a sorcerer’s portal

Towards the end of the trailer, Deadpool and Wolverine jump through a portal to escape the Void with Alioth on their heels. Fans will recognise this as the magic portals used by sorcerers like Doctor Strange. Who opened the portal is still an unanswered question but the possibilities are exciting.

Deadpool & Wolverine will be released on July 26, 2024.

Srikanth is one of the most anticipated upcoming films. Yesterday, the makers hosted an event for the song launch of the film’s track Papa Kehte Hai. The original song was featured in Aamir Khan’s Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak.

In attendance at the event was Rakummar Rao who plays the titular Srikanth in the film. Aamir Khan joined the film’s cast including Alaya F as they clapped and cheered while the song played. Check out the photos here:

Hearing the misleading ads case against Patanjali Ayurved, the Supreme Court today asked if the size of an apology it put out in newspapers today was similar to its full-page advertisements of its products. Senior Advocate Mukul Rohatgi, appearing for Patanjali founders Ramdev and Balkrishna, said they have filed a fresh set of apologies before the court.
