David Beckham and Victoria Beckham publicly wished their son Brooklyn a happy birthday, two months after reports of tension within the family surfaced. Brooklyn Peltz Beckham had earlier spoken about a rift with his parents in a lengthy Instagram statement shared in January, where the 27 year old made several claims about their relationship and alleged that they had tried to “ruin” his bond with wife Nicola Peltz.

 Despite the controversy, both parents took to Instagram to celebrate Brooklyn’s birthday. David shared a childhood photo of the two of them in a swimming pool and wrote, “Twenty seven today. Happy birthday bust, we love you.” The post included an emotional eyes emoji and a white heart, hinting at the affectionate nickname he has long used for his eldest son.

David also shared another black and white photo of himself with a young Brooklyn and wrote, “Happy birthday Bust. Love you x.” The former footballer has often referred to Brooklyn as “Buster”, even getting the nickname tattooed on his neck. In the past, he had explained, “I’ve always called Brooklyn Buster since the day he was born.”

Victoria Beckham also marked the occasion by posting a picture of herself with Brooklyn as a toddler. Alongside the image, she wrote, “Happy 27th birthday Brooklyn, I love you so much,” adding several love heart emojis. The birthday wishes came months after Brooklyn’s widely discussed Instagram statement in which he claimed Nicola had been “consistently disrespected by my family.”

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan is back on the sets this week, and a sweet behind the scenes moment from the shoot has quickly caught fans’ attention online. The actress, who has mostly kept a low profile lately, delighted admirers after a new selfie from the set surfaced on fan pages.

 In the pictures circulating online, Aishwarya is seen posing for a cheerful selfie with a curly haired child actor. Dressed in elegant shades of white with her hair styled in soft, loose waves, she looked radiant as ever. The young co star, wearing a pastel green outfit, appeared a little shy but smiled brightly while leaning in for the candid click.

While there has been no official announcement about a new film, the shoot is believed to be for an upcoming advertisement for a brand she endorses. Details about the project are still being kept under wraps, but the pictures have excited fans as they mark one of her rare appearances since the holiday season.

Earlier during the winter break, Aishwarya was spotted spending quality time with husband Abhishek Bachchan and their daughter Aaradhya Bachchan. The trio was seen enjoying their holiday in the United States. 

Meanwhile, on the work front, Abhishek has been busy filming the action entertainer King, which also stars Shah Rukh Khan, Suhana Khan, Deepika Padukone and Rani Mukerji and is expected to release in December.

Shah Rukh Khan arrived with Gauri Khan and Suhana Khan for Arjun Tendulkar’s wedding celebrations, turning heads with their elegant looks.
