At 68, Sunny Deol is showing no signs of slowing down, after the massive global success of his recent release, Border 2. According to the latest reports, he has officially moved on to his next big project, an action thriller titled Antony. Produced by Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani’s Excel Entertainment in collaboration with A.R. Murugadoss’ production banner, Antony promises to be a high-octane cinematic experience. The film is being directed by newcomer Balaji Ganesh, a filmmaker from Chennai who has previously sharpened his skills by assisting Murugadoss on several major productions. Adding to the excitement is the casting of Vijay Varma, who is set to play the main antagonist. Known for his versatile performances, his face-off with Sunny is expected to be a major highlight of this suspense thriller. Jyotika is also reportedly cast in a pivotal role.

According to Variety India, the filming for Antony started on February 27 in Mumbai. The filming is scheduled to wrap up by July 2026, with the makers targeting a theatrical release in early 2027. This new project comes during Sunny’s incredible box-office run. His film Border 2, directed by Anurag Singh, became the biggest hit of 2026. The war drama, based on the 1971 India-Pakistan conflict, earned more than Rs 327 crore net domestically and reached nearly Rs 450 crore globally within 39 days of its release.

Janhvi Kapoor Says It Hurts to See Arjun Kapoor Face Bullying and Harassment Online

Janhvi Kapoor recently spoke about how she deals with social media culture and the trolling that often comes her way. The actress shared that over time she has learned not to give too much importance to online opinions, even though negativity on the internet can sometimes be overwhelming. She also addressed the kind of online harassment her half brother Arjun Kapoor faces.

Janhvi Arjun

Reflecting on how social media works today, Janhvi explained in an interview with Grazia, “From what I understand about social media culture, is that everyone wants prominence, views and virality, so if they are making content about you, you’re just a scapegoat, they’re just using your name for clickbait, rage bait and whatever else it is to further their engagement. That’s the only purpose you serve, and once you look at it from that lens, you understand that what they’re saying about you has nothing to do with you. Then you start taking that less to your heart.”

While she has managed to emotionally distance herself from online chatter, Janhvi admitted it still hurts to see the kind of trolling directed at Arjun Kapoor. Speaking about it, she said, “Everyone’s doing what they have to, sab ghar chalane ki koshish kar rahe hai (they are trying to make ends meet). You need to be transactional – nothing is that deep. It’s stupid to occupy your brain for more than five minutes with this. Of course, it hurts to feel misunderstood, or when it turns into bullying and harassment, the way I’ve seen happen with my brother sometimes, and there’s no excuse for that kind of behaviour. Negativity fuels negativity, and you just have to remove yourself from it.”

On the work front, Janhvi was last seen in Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari. She will next be seen in the Telugu film Peddi opposite Ram Charan. Directed by Buchi Babu Sana and produced by Venkata Satish Kilaru under Vriddhi Cinemas, the film also stars Shiva Rajkumar, Jagapathi Babu, Divyendu Sharma and Boman Irani, and is set to release in theatres on April 30.
