Apart from Varanasi, Prakash Raj has reportedly signed another Tamil film, Saraswathi. The project marks the directorial debut of actress Varalaxmi Sarathkumar. In the breezy entertainer, Prakash Raj plays a lawyer named Ramanujam.

Responding to the announcement, Varalaxmi expressed her appreciation for Prakash Raj’s contribution to her first directorial venture. The film also features Priyamani, Radhika Sarathkumar and Naveen Chandra. The shooting was completed in December last year, with the team wrapping up after an eventful schedule.
